The three of us booked a night here because our group filled up a neighboring guest ranch - and what a stroke of luck that was. The old barn was spacious, neat and chock full of interesting angles. A quick walk with my birding partner revealed 25 species, including a pair of sharp-tailed grouse in the horse pasture. The long... More

Theo - Glad that you and Pat enjoyed your too brief experience and stay here. Hope you can bring back your families and have a longer stay to explore this valley and region as well as visit Yellowstone and Grand Teton National Parks just up the road. Hope to see you soon, Tom & Ann More

The title about sums it up. The folks who own the ranch are very nice but the amenities are lacking. The breakfast was very good. There were no horses to ride as per the online advertisement. Accommodations are rustic. Price was high.

We had a river rafting trip given to us, so we decided to stay at Hansen Ranch instead of Jackson, WY. The owners Ann and Tom, are the best! They are friendly and chatted with us all a great deal. The rooms were nice and large.. I was really surprised how large they are. I was really happy we stayed... More

We stayed there for a vacation/family reunion. It is one of the BEST B&B's I have stayed. The owners greet you outside as you pull in. You don't have to worry about where the office is. They have tennis, playing in creek, walking in nature, bicycling and my personal favorite, Croquet, to keep you busy in down times. Ann, the... More

The Hansen Guest Ranch will tug at your heart if you have appreciation for country life. For those who need people, many of the guests are international and nice as can be. If you like mobs then Jackson, Wy. is the perfect day trip from here. Tom is a genial walking encyclopedia and Ann is the epitome of Southern hospitality... More

My husband and I recently visited Hansen Silver Guest Ranch with two of our friends. It was my second visit, my husband's third visit and the first for our friends. Obviously we loved it because we keep returning. The breakfast Ann and Tom serve is the best I have ever had anywhere, home included! She serves a Southern style breakfast... More

A front porch on all of the cottages and the old barn beckoned us to sit and look out at buffalo, cattle, and horses grazing the surrounding meadows. We stayed in the old barn, remodeled in a wild-wild west style. The bed was cozy and the room decor charming. Up in the barn loft, sitting areas and tables offered up... More

We stopped for one night at Tom and Ann's ranch and it was great! Tom is a very nice host with all kinds of suggestions and travel advice and a perfect breakfast was prepared by Ann the next morning. We would have stayed longer if our travel plans would have allowed it because of the relaxing surroundings of the ranch... More

Fred and Sofie (their travel names while in the states) are newlyweds from the Netherlands, and it is exciting to see young professional couples from foreign countries traveling here in America. They are very well informed, polite and definitely appreciate the hospitality and scenery in our national parks and surrounding territories. More

I was tasked with hosting our statewide 2012 Fish & Game Administrative Assistant Meeting. It was suggested that I check out the Hansen Guest Ranch in Swan Valley, Idaho. I took a drive to visit the Guest Randch, and knew immediately that this was the perfect place for our meeting. From the very beginning, Ann and Tom were very accommodating.... More

The owners, Tom and Ann, are helpful, personable, gracious, and wonderful people. They are hands-on owners: cooking, cleaning, lawn care, etc. etc. Very little of the work that needs done is hired out. The surroundings are spectacular. Price is very reasonable. Much less expensive than the high-priced towns up the road and much better! I highly recommend the place!
