We traded our 5-star timeshare for this place in Ketchum. DAE Live provided the exchange, stating that condo assignment would be done at check-in. After a 15 hour drive, we checked in at the Tamarack Lodge, a few minutes away.
There are many buildings in this complex; the depicted photos used are false for a timeshare exchange.
Our (studio) unit was on the ground floor next to the building’s entry door and bike racks, and the closest unit to indoor ski racks.. We immediately drove back to the Tamarack to request a unit change, but were denied, being told that our exchange company had requested this unit.
A call placed to our exchange company was a waste of time and only reiterated what we already knew. The Tamarack Resort desk clerk’s only concern was whether we wanted to keep the key or hand it in. We suspect that unit numbers are purposely not given so as to avoid issues such as this.
