Stanley was our second stop on our tour of North West USA. This park was very basic and had only minimum number of parking bays for RVs. As we had booked it early we could get one. They have no public showers or free WiFi. Maybe they are concentrating on the rooms and cabins than the RV customers.

Clean, well-maintained motel. But $125 per night for a Mom and Pop motel? No breakfast, no coffee, thin walls. Stanley seemed to me to be a scruffy town with scruffy restaurants and expensive lodging. Beautiful scenery, but maybe better to bring your own food and tent and camp in this area.

This place exceeded my expectations. There is a nice front and back porch for each room. Outside, I found wooden chairs and a picnic table set up by the river for maximum chillaxing. I was able to sit outside on a beautiful summer evening and enjoy the full moon in complete peace. How often can you say that? The room... More

Overall nice clean room with great views. Great spot to watch sunset near creek behind motel. Bring your wine! Walls are not sound proof so it can get a little loud but wasn't too bad for us. Nice place to stay while you explore the Stanley, Idaho area.

The room was nice and clean with a kitchenette and large bedroom, but the noise was terrible. We were on the 1st floor and we could not only hear the people upstairs walking around we could hear them talking. Someone upstairs got up at 2 am and walked around so loudly it woke us up and kept us up most... More

Stayed 3 nights with my wife. (Room 4, second floor) Large room with kitchenette, equipped with a nice assortment of the basics including a fridge and small microwave and small dining table. The beds were comfortable and the views were excellent. There is a narrow deck outback connecting all the rooms providing a nice place to sit. Tables and chairs... More

My wife and I stayed 3 nights in July. We loved the views, and watched wildlife from the deck each evening. The room was very clean and comfortable. We enjoyed visiting with our hostess each day, and appreciated that the location was just outside of town. We would recommend it to anyone.

I passed through Stanley on a cross country road trip and pulled into town at dusk to find this one of the only open accommodations. As others have said, this hotel is run by a couple who live in the house/office adjoining the property. The wife is very friendly and helpful. The husband is a bit gruff, but managed to... More

Room was clean w/ basic amenities, but the elderly gentleman running the place was a "crab" at best. We had a couple of questions and he acted like he was doing us a favor to even answer the door. There are snarky, long, and detailed signs/messages posted all around the room, (no one else allowed in the room, no one... More

Stanley is a weird and wonderful place. It is said to be the coldest place in Idaho and it was 3 above zero in late October, 2012 with everything coated in beautiful flocked snow.. The Motel was modest, the host was helpful and friendly and the room had a functioning kitchenette with pots and pans etc. It was ultra clean,... More
