We stayed here after a six-day trip on the Middle Fork. The King room was lovely - very well appointed with a terrific bed and beautiful bathroom. Only problem was the water pressure and lack of hot water - very disappointing. We sprung for the private bathroom to get a hot shower, but this was lukewarm at best. The restaurant... More

The room was smaller than I thought with the six of us next time I would get a bigger room, But it was cozy and clean. We were there for a family reunion. Memories were made and my children will always remember this night.

We stayed at the Sawtooth Hotel the wekend of my cousin's wedding. Friendly staff, room was very comfortable, we stayed in Room 9. Great hotel for those looking to get away from tv, and land lines, they have free wi-fi available, cell service around town is great. We did think the restaurant was a little overpriced but the food was... More

There weren't many hotels available when I checked online for a place in Stanley so I reserved a room even though it looked pretty rustic and old and was almos$100 for one night. Unfortunately it was even worse than the pictures. Very small room. Bathroom so small it was hard to dress without hitting elbows on the walls. The bedspread... More

We just returned from the best week ever, spent with good friends and family in Stanley for our post-wedding celebration. The owners and staff of the The Sawtooth Hotel & Stanley Baking Co. ("The Bakery") definitely made our trip that much more enjoyable. Everybody in our party loved the unique and comfortable accommodations, the incredible food, the VIEWS, the live... More

I stayed here in June 2014, for a first time visit to Stanley Idaho. The town was very unique and beautiful. The service at the hotel was great. The manager and staff were very caring even before I arrived, communicating with me about arrival time and weather information. The rooms and amenities were clean and comfortable. The hotel was recently... More

Cute little old hotel, with teeny rooms furnished with vintage furniture, and bathrooms/showers down the hall and around the corner. (There are rooms with en suite bathrooms, but we did not want to pay the extra for that.) Loved sitting out on the little balcony at the end of the hall, with a glass of wine, as the sun went... We recently stayed in room 9. The staff was very friendly and the room décor was what I'd call "updated rustic". Modern plumbing, king bed but with a pioneer feel. Very nice! The only down side (and no fault of the hotel of staff) was that the smoke from the nearby forest fires obliterated the Million Dollar view! The limited... More

This was my second stay at Sawtooth Hotel. The first stay was in one of the rooms upstairs. The room was comfortable and very clean, although 'rustic'. This trip I stayed in Cabin 14 with a companion. The room included a small kitchen area and was kind of crowded for two people, but we managed. Pulled bed out from wall... More

The sawtooth Hotel is a historic and very rustic venue. If you are looking for luxury, this is not the place for you. But if you want a unique experience in a beautiful location...it's perfect. Rooms are small, some don't have private baths. Our room had a very updated bath although the rooms are authentic. Staff is friendly and helpful.... More
