I was in town for work and this was the only place that had vacancy at the time. And now I know why. I stayed in the middle of July and I didn't find out until it was too late that there was no air conditioning what so ever. The room I had was hot, and not very clean. There... More

This stay was an unplanned stay, just a "we have got to stop". We stopped at the local Maverik store and asked where a decent place to stay in town would be, and they recommended JR Inn. So anyone who knows small town Idaho, should know that lodging choices in small rural areas isn't going to the best stay ever,... More

I suppose at 50 a night you can't expect much. The shower didn't drain and it was noisy. The bed was uncomfortable but at least they changed from plastic pillows to sort of real pillows. Would not recommend, maybe if you're on a budget and need a cheap place to stay

I stayed here for several nights as it was in close proximity to a local dog event. The room and bathroom were very clean. The shower in my room had great pressure !! The room was large enough and included a small table with 2 chairs. My room had a microwave and refrigerator, which is only available upon request. They... More

We like to stay in older motels when we travel - usually can find fun cheap ones that are fine, clean and spacious with parking right in front of our room. In this respect J and R was fine. However, the owner is in the wrong business. He doesn't understand hospitality. We brought our armchairs outside to sit on, he... More

Keep in mind, first of all, that Soda Springs is not a tourist destination and therefore lodging accommodations are very limited. The JR Inn was the cleanest and best kept motel option in town. Our room was spacious and clean and the queen bed was comfortable and we slept very well with nice, full pillows!!! (not like the super-ultrasoft, fluffy... More

Rode through town not expecting to stay but had problems with one of our motorcycles and found J.R.'s. It is an older facility but clean and adequate. We got a kick out of the room information booklet. It was a hand written cover with a picture glued on it. There s no air conditioning.

We booked this motel after having a miserable night in another motel in town. We found our room at the J & R Inn to be everything the other motel was not. The room was clean and had obviously been recently updated with new carpet, appliances, and other furnishings. Though it did not have airconditioning (no motels in this town... More

I couldn't find anything else, and it was a bit on the scary side. My room smelled like rodents, and it was confirmed when a fairly large rat ran over my feet while I was sleeping. If I was desperate, I might stay there again, but only if I had some pepper spray. Train was right behind the building, so... More
