We were not expecting very much for the price of the stay. However, tired of spending big money on quick (less than 6 hour) over nights, we took a chance. This place was perfect and exceeded our needs for that. The value is excellent, it is very clean and the staff were far above average. A generic no frills breakfast... More

Somebody decided to reverse the trend where if a lodger wants/needs a low $$$ rate then they deserve a low-end experience. Here at the guest house we got a comfortable mattress, good towels, a free (minimalistic) breakfast and use of a clean hot tub/jacuzzi. The room had room and the pine log furniture was chosen - not just an obligatory... More

Our room was quiet, clean, and comfortable. Spacious enough for a comfy overstuffed sitting chair. The cabin themed furnishings add a quaint rustic touch. While it's located 1-2 miles from downtown, it's very convenient to a Yoke's (great grocery), Starbucks, etc. It was also easy to connect to wonderful rural roads for my road biking excursions. The WiFi was good,... More

This motel was very nice. We had a king size bed that was very comfortable. The pillows were unusually comfortable for a motel room. The decor was pleasing and the bedding seemed more upscale than most inexpensive motels. The staff was courteous and pleasant.

In Sandpoint for a family reunion, we stayed four nights on the first floor. It was a comfortable stay for a fairly reasonable price. Microwave, refrigerator, TV all in good working order. There were a limited number of outlets for our electronics; some were behind heavy furniture. Breakfast was just average; the raisin bran was extra fresh though. The manager... More

I booked this room from Priceline for a cheap rate. I should have known better. The second I pulled up to the dilapidated 'Lodge' I knew something was wrong. The staff I met was friendly but that wasn't enough. The room was terrible. It smelled. My son says he saw a mouse, and there was mouse droppings on the bed... More

Oh my! I am surprised at your outlook on our hotel. The hotel was completely remodeled inside and out four years ago. The hotel is equipped with Idaho made log furniture, new bedding and drapes, new flat screen TVs, chair and recliners. Our bathtubs have not been replaced and agree can be replaced. I assure you they are not dirty,... More

Excellent hotel, great price, and friendly staff. Free wifi, and 24 hour hot tub with a view. I ended up staying here for two weeks, the price is about the best in town and the hotel is extremely clean and with a nice atmosphere. I highly recommend it for a short or extended stay.

The room was clean and reasonably priced. The staff was friendly and helpful. The location is easy to find and has easy access to the main road and centrally located to other amenities such as Walmart and a nicely stocked grocery store with deli.

Great value for the price. Beds comfortable. Pillows a little thin, and the shower curtain barely covered the top of the tub. Great for just a quick overnight stay. Friendly staff! Good location. Wifi worked fine!

My family of five(Husband and I, three kids 12,9,9) came to the Guest House to stay for a weekend race up at Schweitzer Mountain. We have stayed at the Holiday Inn before but changed plans since our friends were staying at the Guest House. They offer a room that has 4 queen beds, microwave, little fridge and coffee maker.
