We booked this hotel on the internet and drove 346 miles from Calgary in order to take a look at Sandpoint over the weekend. We were allocated smoking rooms yet none of us smoke (no choice here), otherwise we found the hotel unpretentious, plain and simple. # Good points: free wifi; reasonably comfortable bed; plenty of parking; hot tub available.... Beautiful but summer isn't the time to use this property. We hiked to the summit using The nature trail a round trip of 5 miles and about 200 ft elevation gain. There is no resources once on top. The tram can be taken to the summit, but we hike. Sure would have been good to have a cold drink on... More

Four adults and two children stayed here for four nights. Though it's not 'the Ritz' it was perfect for our purposes. The two queen beds were comfortable. The pull-out bed was 'okay' for the kids...pretty saggy. We drove to Silverwood (about 26 miles away) to enjoy the theme park one day and the water park one day. We also took... More

This is our 3rd visit to the area & we have stayed in this hotel each time. Every room we have stayed in has been nice. The beds are comfortable too. Great price friendly staff & motorcycle friendly which is a plus for us. I would definitely use them again on my next visit.

Cottage themed hotel is super adorable for being in the middle of nowhere. It doesn't look like much outside but log cabin feel inside is cozy. Rooms are clean, FREE waffle is awesome!! Staff is super awesome too!! They just need to fix internet in rooms. Despite it being free there's no active connection. At least not on 2nd floor.... More

After reading some other reviews, we gave this place a shot. We stayed one evening and thought it was great! Very cute, homey rooms. Clean rooms, Comfortable beds and friendly service. You can't beat the price for one night on the road. For 69.00 we received free breakfast, coffee maker, microwave and a fridge. Close enough to restaurants, but we... More

After driving all day from Oregon we were happy to find cheap, safe, friendly accommodation. The bed was comfy, room was clean, AC worked and the shower was hot. Can't ask for more for a 12 hour stay.

At first, I thought our stay at this lodge would be a good one. We were very grateful to get a room over lost in the 50's weekend when most places in the area were booked. The first thing that threw me off was the parking lot. Almost all of the parking spaces were impossible to get out of if... More

Lost in the 50s Car Show is such a wonderful event to attend when visiting Sandpoint. I am sorry to hear your staff wasn't the best. Anytime you have an issue such as a dog barking, please give us a quick call at the front desk and we will take care of it. We will also check your bathroom fan... More

I don't understand a few not so good reviews of this lodge. For the price we paid, the accommodation is more than enough for what we get in exchange. My family and I only found one strange item in the room - the creaking bathtub. But it's OK since we never take bath in a public-used bathtub. Otherwise, the room... More
