Dirty room. Dark. Old carpet. Dingy patched couch. Patched wall. The exterior was added on to make it look like your room wasn't enter from outside. Desk help said we could get food downtown. Everything was closed. Saturday night at 11:00 pm!!! Drove from Calgary and needed a place to rest. Will never come back here. No fridge. No microwave.... More

Drove from Seattle, WA heading to Glacier National Park. Sandpoint was a good stopping place for the night. When we made the reservations, we requested a 1st floor room. When we saw it, we were upset. It is not the quality we are used to having with Choice Hotels. The hotel layout is unique to say the least. We had... More

The hotel is about 3 blocks from the main business in town perhaps a mile to the public park which is beautiful and huge set right on the Lake. The hotel property is a bit run down . The rooms are average , clean, the staff very kind and friendly. There is no breakfast served of any kind. No micro... More

What an interesting place. Formerly a La Quinte property that has been made into the choice hotel line.....friendly folks at the check in but lacking in essential information (WIFI log in information).....the inside area is SOOOOOOOO HOT from the individual room air conditioners.......scorching.....you feel like a bee in the hive when you enter your room.....the adjoining restaurant had very friendly... We arrived in Sandpoint after crossing back into the US from Canada and it was time to find a motel. Many of the motels were booked so we decided on this one. I agree the outside facade is dated; however the rooms were clean and ours could be cooled down to a comfortable temperature. I did not have my AAA... More

Check In - young girl was not too friendly, tried chatting with her and she really was not very forthcoming. Room was quite dated. It was extremely hot when we got there, and all the front of the hotel was opened up to try to cool it down. Ironically I had booked this hotel as I did not want to... More

Decided to take a last min road trip from Seattle to Banff over the long 4th of July weekend, so we did not have many places to choose from. Don't be fooled by the facade. This is late 1950's era motel, that has had all the room enclosed to look modern from the outside it is noisy and very hot,... More

We used this motel for an business work weekend job. They put an 4 times the cost of our stay hold on our card and after we checked out, the office (customer service) said we had to call our bank to take the hold off??? Excuse me this is an american express credit card! The bank has nothing to do... More

It was very hot when we arrived and the heat was trapped outside our second floor room. Felt like it was 100 degrees. The A/C was too noisy, had to shut it off to get any sleep. Neighbours turned on the TV at 6:30 to catch up on the Olympic results which we heard loud and clear. (Not the hotels... More
