Our stay here was great! Nothing like some of the negative reviews we read prior to booking. It started off with outstanding customer service from Becky at the front desk (very rare in this day and age!) both over the phone prior to our arrival, as well as during our stay. She was so helpful and friendly!!! The room (One... More

We arrived at Edgewater, Sandpoint tired and with a little trepadation as most recent reviews had commented on the musty smells. Whilst it's true there was a slight foisty smell in our room, there were workman on site attending to the issue and the smell was only initially noticeable. Our room was very spacious, although the bathroom less so but... More

We ended up unexpectedly in Sandpoint on a Saturday afternoon with no hotel reservations, two dogs, and a 93 year old who was fading fast. The Best Western Edgewater had the last pet room in town and although it was more than we usually spend (LaQuinta is a great deal for dog travelers), we took it. The room was on... More

I stayed here twice within a 4-day span. The first time, I asked for another room as the one they'd placed me in smelled horribly musty and dirty. They gave me a room that smelled better, although it was as if someone had sprayed the room with fragrance or had hidden an air freshener. The next time, I got another... More

Beautiful view out patio, wonderful walk around marina and park. But be aware of train tracks on other side of building. We didn't hear them hardly with patio doors closed, and the freight trains run nearly every half hours 24 hrs/day. We agree with a/c noise and warmth of room of past review. No continental breakfast, but we met up... More

Spent three nights here. Great location with a million dollar view. We stayed on the third floor...found it very quiet. Each room has a balcony or patio...we enjoyed sitting there with a glass of wine and the incredible view of the lake and mountains. The Trinity restaurant next to the BW is excellent. We had four meals there and loved... More

While traveling to and from Alberta, Canada over the last 2 weeks we stayed at Best Western all of the way. This particular one we were really looking forward to staying at because of the view of the lake/beach and we were willing to pay more than double any other BW we stayed at along the way. The view was... More

After reviewing several critical remarks I decided to check them out on this location, while visiting friends in the area. I am not sure where some of these folks stayed while in Sandpoint, or who the the uncaring employees were - but it certainly was not here. From our arrival (a little early) a friendly employee Welcomed us, and provided... More

My family is awake at 3 a.m. because of noise from partying loud young adults yelling in the hallway. This has been going on all night. I finally opened my door and yelled at them and they quieted down. We are staying in the closest room to the hotel front desk and I have a difficult time believing the front... More
