First, it should be known that Schweitzer Mountain Resort has several separate rental properties. This is a review for the condo just 0.6 miles down hill from the Village, Chapel Pointe -- we stayed in the 200 building. This review does not necessarily reflect the experiences others may have in a different rental property. Next disclaimer: we stayed during the... More

My family and I stayed at the White Pine Lodge over the Labor day holiday weekend and enjoyed the annual Fall fest. Beer, Bands, and all the summer recreation that the mountain offered. The unit we stayed in was clean, nice and comfortable. The bed was a little soft for me, the WIFI did not work, and the food choices... More

Thanks so much for the kind feedback. Also, next time for a firmer sleeping experience just request that the mattress topper be removed and we'd be happy to do that for you. Devin Marks More

My partner and I made the trip to Schweitzer for the Labor Day weekend festivities. Overall it was a great experience-the lodging was great. However, I would like to bring two problems to the resorts attention. I had read an article several weeks earlier regarding the weekend events, and the article stated "free performances, chairlift rides, kids activities..." - I... More

Thanks for the feedback. I'm so sorry about the misunderstanding regarding lift tickets. After doing some research, it seems the Inlander changed the wording we submitted and indeed seemed to present it as you have stated. I'm sorry about the misunderstanding and reaction from our staff member. I hope we can have the chance to rectify this in the future... More

The 'Lodge lost power during our visit. As a result, the heat in our room was sweltering! To make things worse... there was no emergency lighting for safety. Our children very were scared. We all couldn't sleep a wink. We were stranded! We considered leaving, but we were told that the only road out of the resort was impassable so... More

On August 1st, a massive storm hit our area and by all accounts was the worst in many decades, with winds in excess of 70 miles an hour. Over a dozen downed trees blocked access to and from the village. Festival tents in the village collapsed and anything not bolted down was strewn around the mountain. Much of the region... More

This resort was a great idea. My kids loved all the activities. We signed them up for the whole package - zip lining, rock climbing, bouncy jumping thing, and they even took the chair lift up to the top of the mountain for a hike. My kids loved every minute of us. They are 13 and 9 years old and... More

Thanks for your kind review. Our road can be a bit tricky for sure, not to mention all the wildlife along the side of the road as well! More

My husband and I went there last January and had a wonderful experience dealing with each and every associate we interacted with. The front desk agents, ski instructors, bartenders in the pub (which we frequented almost every night after skiing) are all a reason we will be back again. Thank you again for giving us an oasis away from the... More

The Selkirk Lodge is a lovely hotel with large rooms and nice touches, like plush robes and DVD players with a selection of movies in the lobby. The beds are super comfortable. We would have rated the hotel as excellent if the room had included at least a refrigerator--and maybe a microwave (as we have become accustomed to)--and if the... More

We spent three nights here at the beginning of August. We stayed in the Selkirk lodge, which is the older of the two, and slightly less expensive. Our family suite had a queen sized bed and a bunk bed, so our family of four slept comfortably (the mattress on the queen was pretty broken down, but that's a reality in... More

Thank you for your thorough review. So few of our guests take the time to enjoy all that the mountain has to offer. I'm glad it was a nice experience for your family. We really appreciate and incorporate the detailed feedback. Thanks again, Devin More

We stayed in the White Pine Lodge. Huge 2 bedroom suite, plenty of room for a large family. The kitchen is fully size, and the two bathrooms were much appreciated. All the employees were very nice to interact with, and quite helpful. Things are a bit slower in the summer, the lodge felt deserted, and many of the stores and... More

We spent only one night here and even though a powerful windstorm hit the area, knocking out the power, we had a blast. The staff was helpful and friendly (passing out flashlights, bringing in free muffins/cookies for breakfast and making sure we were comfortable), the beds were perfect and the views were amazing. We will definitely be back and can't... More
