An incredibly expensive broom closet with broken appliances and the worlds loudest heater. $280 gets you a bed... and thats it. If you bring your snowboard up to dry, its 100 bucks extra. The front desk staff have no idea how to work the check in system, and the gormet breakfast you are promised is powdered eggs and cerial. Despite... More

skibumcrossna, I'm so sorry that our accommodations did not meet your expectations. I hope you'll allow us the opportunity to try better next time. I might also suggest our newer and larger units in the White Pine lodge next time, perhaps those would better suite your needs. Thanks for the honest feedback. More

This resort has a 14 day advanced cancelation policy. My husband and I booked this for a romantic ski trip weekend a month and a half ago. We figured there would lots of snow and this mountain is one of our favorites to ski. We live about 2 hours away from the mountain so never booked a room here before.... More

Vacationer A, Thank you for the feedback. With our limited inventory we do have more stringent cancellation policies than some hotels. I'm sorry if you felt that was not made clear to you. If you'll allow us, let's try again and I'll happily upgrade you to a deluxe room that does have a fridge and microwave. Thanks for the feedback. More

This is a great resort, with great service and great skiing! They have a lot of things going on like kids crafts, snowshoeing and skiing, a great family get away! My biggest bummer this year was no fireworks on New Years!! Also they should have something going on at Chimny Rock so that there is something else to do besides... More

This beautiful and 'classy' hotel at Schweitzer Ski Resort is a great experience for some of us that don't ski any longer. We stayed here for one night before New Years Eve and were treated as if we were Royalty. Front desk staff, Lydia, Hailey and Michael Layeaux were more than accommodating... they apologized that they were short a bellman... More

Very expensive for what you get. False advertising by resort manager to lure customers into visiting Schweitzer. No WiFi in room. It is not the largest ski resort in Idaho- Sun Valley is the largest. Snow reports are often inaccurate. Hot tubs weren't working. Old slow lifts to the best ski runs. Food in Chimney Rock Restaurant was overpriced and... More

Please stop making this mountain only for the wealthy to enjoy. And don't charge $80 a lift ticket when not even 1/4 of the mountain is open. So Stupid!!! It is an awesome mountain and have been going since I was a kid but now I can't afford it!! Killin the little man!!!!!

We stayed in the Selkirk Lodge at Schweitzer Mountain Resort in late September, during off season. It was bit difficult to find -- several miles up the mountain. But when we arrived, we were given an upgraded room that was very nice and comfortable. The area -- although remote -- is lovely. We walked around the village and enjoyed the... More

We recently stayed at the Whitepine Lodge for a long weekend. Great room with a full kitchen and a wonderful view of the lake below. Pucci's Pub was just a elevator ride away and offered great hospitality and great beers. We asked for a lakeside room, and the cost is the same as a Village side room.

Even though the prices are a Bit more than average, I will be honest, this is the best ski resort I've ever been through over the country. Awesome family vacation! Kids loved it, the food is high class, with reasonable prices. Service is great, people are kind. One time I forgot my ski pass on a chair lift, and they... More

I was another guest at this resort when it lost power. I DID have a reservation and and this was the most frightening and pathetically mishandled situation I have ever experienced. I have a business, staff, etc. and it was clear that management was completely clueless about how to handle an emergency and/or really care about their guests. I treat... More

I'm really sorry that you felt our response to the storm was inadequate and that you felt our response to your concerns were not taken as seriously as you would have liked. It was certainly a learning process for us as none of us had experienced a storm of that magnitude. I hope you will return again some day so... More
