After a "bad time" at the Quality Inn, we called the La Quinta Inn and found there was a suite available at a very attractive rate. We stayed there for four nights and had a great time. The suite was exceptionally clean and had a private parking spot. It was on the ground floor with two entrances, one which opened... more

My b/f and I spent the last two nights at the La Quinta in Sandpoint, ID and had a very enjoyable stay. This was a mini-getaway without our kids. The room was nice and roomy, free wireless internet desk and office space. Bed was very soft, almost too soft but better then the alternative. Clean hotel and friendly staff. Enjoyed... more

The La Quinta was recommended to us over and over by friends who had stayed there for the Lost in the Fifties weekend in May. We were finally able to make the trip down from Calgary this year. We had a room on the second floor facing Main Street which was probably quieter than the rooms facing Cedar Street. The... more

This hotel is central in the town, but on a busy street. Our first room was on the first floor in the older section of the hotel. Dark with the large window facing out to a parking lot and the street. Would have to keep the curtain closed at all times for any privacy. Asked to switch and they were... more

This is an interesting set up for La Quinta. Apparently they tried to buy out a business on the location but was unable to do so. They had to split the hotel into three sections literally around this person's building. The room was spacious for a two queen bed room. Clean and furnished with a microwave and fridge. It's right... more

Dirty, smelly and very creepy atmosphere. The owners of this hotel take advantage of the lack of lodging in Sandpoint in the summer and way over price. After leaving this place, found several places for 50.00 less than this motel, with much cleaner and updated rooms. Also, this hotel looks nothing like the advertised pictures. It is greatly in need... more

For the price, room was very mediocore and bland. As the previous reviewer mentioned. the shower would alternate between VERY hot and cold. The property is made up of 3 different buildings with the SMALL pool being in the middle building which means one must walk into the street and cross the road to get to the pool. The same... more

Not a bad place, but for the cost, it was disappointing. The room was very sparse and uninviting and the fitness center had only a treadmill and weight machine. The water in the shower would alternate between scalding hot and cold, and the front desk didn't really care when alerted to this problem. The continental breakfast was pretty good though-... more
