The La Quinta was recommended to us over and over by friends who had stayed there for the Lost in the Fifties weekend in May. We were finally able to make the trip down from Calgary this year. We had a room on the second floor facing Main Street which was probably quieter than the rooms facing Cedar Street. The staff at the front desk were very friendly and most helpful with directions. Our room had a small fridge, microwave, hairdryer, free internet and of course a television with remote. Upon arrival we received a gift bag of candies and gum along with a car cloth.
We were able to walk to the Panida Theatre for the rock and roll show on the first night of our stay. The second night we took part in the parade of cars. The cars drove right up Cedar Street. The whole town comes out to watch and then parties afterwards.
