We only stayed with Cal and Jill for a single night, on our way from Coeur d'Alene to a guest ranch north of Sandpoint, but wish we could have stayed longer. We will definitely attempt to book them first on any return visits to the area. The Sweet Magnolia B&B is a lovely, creaky, Victorian-era house on a large corner... More

We were in Sandpoint for one night to see a concert at the annual Festival and were given a night at Sweet Magnolia as a gift. This modest Victorian home has been charmingly appointed. We were booked in the Tulip room--though a bit small, our room had a generous bathroom and large shower. No A/C but a screened window afforded... More

My husband and I and our 2 kids stayed one night at the Sweet Magnolia B and B and adored the place! Calvin kindly offered us a second room as they were not full that night so our teenage son had his own space - very nice! The house was charming with lots of character, gorgeous wood floors, beautifully decorated,... More

this is right in downtown Sandpoint, so you can walk to the lake and public beach and park, go downtown to the shops, restaurants and brewery and see it all. The owners are great people and know how to cook a fine breakfast. we slept well i. Our room, although the men in our party got up too early and... More

Thxs to Cal and Jill.!! Had a wonderful and relaxing stay!!!! Cal and Jill were very warm and welcoming owners... Great hosts and their breakfasts were out of this world. All food allergies were taken into consideration. Spent 2 nights and had a wonderful and memorable stay... Met new friends from Switzerland.... Lots of good feelings all around. Would recommend... Very enjoyable, comfortable stay for two evenings with another couple in this late 1800's home. The breakfast, rooms, sitting areas and our host were was wonderful. Only a few blocks from downtown and the waterfront. The only thing missing is a garden or more yard area, but minor compared to its overall charm. A wonderful place to retreat to while... More

Stayed here, June 27 for 1 night. Got into Sandpoint in the rain. We were on a motorcycle and had quite a bit of rain this day. Were welcomed warmly and shown to our room. None of the rooms upstairs were booked so got the pick of the rooms. Rooms were clean and nice looking but a little small for... More

This B&B exceeded my expectations. We chose the king bed suite with a claw-foot tub and spent two cozy nights there. The room was spacious, spotless, and the bed was incredibly comfortable with a memory foam mattress. The owners, Cal and Jill, were friendly and made excellent breakfasts both mornings we were there. We ended up staying in the dining... More

We never would have expected to leave a review for an establishment where we had yet to stay..... This review praises the owner(s) of Sweet Magnolia B&B who were sensitive to us in our time of loss. We were 2000 miles from home on the day we were to check in for, 2 nights June 17th and 18th 2014, at... More
