I stayed for two nights, and I've never really stayed at B&Bs, so I didn't know what to expect. The house and gardens present great and are in fantastic shape. The decor of the house is so nice, the complete opposite of staying in a sterile hotel. It's about two blocks walk to get to downtown, so it's far enough... More

We were delighted to find this place on a recent road trip through Sandpoint, Idaho. Our room was lovely and comfortable. Cal and Jill were friendly and engaging and made our stay so pleasant. The breakfast was amazing with fresh berries and scones along with a wonderful soufflé and fried potatoes. We were within easy walking distance of local restaurants... More

We loved staying here. The breakfast was amazing. Very central to the "Most Beautiful Small Town in America" Sandpoint, Idaho. The owners are very accommodating. We were able to come a little early and stay a little late. They locked our bikes in the Carriage House so that they were safe. Overall great place to stay and yes we would... More

We stayed in the very comfortable Sweet Bay Room, first floor, for two nights. Calvin and Jill were the perfect hosts. We spent time relaxing and reading on the wrap around , covered porch and in the comfortable living room. It is an easy walk from the B&B to restaurants, shops and other downtown attractions. The breakfasts were excellent. The... More

Very clean and beautiful. The host was friendly and hospitable. The accommodations helped make our anniversary romantic and memorable. The decorations were very well done, all the way down to the antique furniture and pictures. Also, a great location. Just a short walk downtown and to anything you want to do in Sandpoint. I highly recommend this bed and breakfast.

Stayed for two nights with innkeepers Cal and Jill while visiting family in the area. Loved their fine hospitality, great breakfasts, interesting conversation and of course the old Victorian house is a sweet spot to stay. We look forward to retuning!

We only stopped for one night on our way south to Montana but it was worth it. The Sweet Magnolia Inn is a perfect location to explore Sandpoint. Everything is within easy walking distance. The Inn is a lovingly restored Victorian home full of surprises. We had evidently one of the largest rooms with a charming claw foot tub that... More

Beautifully restored and decorated Victorian house complete with sun room (for those cool mornings) and veranda (for those sunny afternoons). Each room has a private bath and coffee appears magically in the morning on the second floor landing! Spend five minutes with the owners and they feel like old friends. Breakfast was delicious (two helpings of pecan/toffee bread pudding)! We'll... More

Our wedding anniversary falls on Labor Day weekend each year, and we like to try new places to celebrate....this one did not disappoint! Sweet Magnolia B&B, was a charming, and homey experience that everyone should experience. I have to say that I would come back for the breakfast alone...., yogurt with homemade granola (warmed), huckleberry scones, a southern pie with... More

We only stayed with Cal and Jill for a single night, on our way from Coeur d'Alene to a guest ranch north of Sandpoint, but wish we could have stayed longer. We will definitely attempt to book them first on any return visits to the area. The Sweet Magnolia B&B is a lovely, creaky, Victorian-era house on a large corner... More
