Our party of 7 stayed at the Syringa Lodge in April. Fantastic! The owners are so kind, they make you feel right at home. The views are amazing and almost as good as breakfast. Would be crazy to stay anywhere else.

The Syringa is truly a gem-- the building itself is lovely, and each room is beautifully furnished and decorated. The setting is incredible, with views of the whole valley and some walking trails right outside the lodge that let visitors take in a view of the Salmon River. Paula and Dave were extremely friendly and helpful in getting us oriented... More

Beautiful views. Charming building with an awesome rustic decor. Very comfortable beds with high end linens. Delicious breakfast. This is our second time at the Syringa Lodge and once again we are impressed.

We stayed in Salmon, Idaho, in September, on the way from Boise to Yellowstone National Park. I had found it online on Trip Advisor and booked a reservation for one night based on the pictures and reviews. I cannot say enough about this Inn. Our room was beautiful - the bed was large (which is good for my over-six-foot husband)... More

We stayed at the Syringa Lodge for the Salmon Marathon. Unfortunately we arrived at the same time as a ferocious thunderstorm which knocked out the power for the entire county for the next 15 hours and caused all the restaurants in town to close. The folks at Syringa went all-out to make us comfortable anyway, even lugging in water (they... More

We don't usually stay at Bed & Breakfasts but made an exception in this case, and were glad we did. Our room was lovely and immaculate and we had a balcony virtually all to ourselves that looked out over the town of Salmon. The breakfast was delicious. My only complaint was that I wish the chairs on the balcony and... More

The Syringa is located on a bluff above town with fantastic views of the mountains & Lemhi Valley. Our room, the Indian Paintbrush, was small but nicely decorated -- very comfy bed & duvet -- and a really small bathroom. Walls are thin, so use your "indoor voices"! Balconies front & aft for enjoying the views, coffee/tea stations on 1st... More

Paula and Dave treat you like family, but don't overdo. We were completely bowled over with the location of this beautiful lodge. High atop a hill looking over Salmon's valley, with long views in every direction, the lodge is in paradise. A photographer's dream, and the only place I chose to rise early just for sunrise pictures. A REALLY reasonable... More

We were on a road trip through the Midwest and needed just an accommodation for one night. Syringa Lodge, an former, remodeled and extended homestead, seemingly in the middle of nowhere, turned out to be a very pleasant experience, despite initial problems when I tried to book in advance, because the owners simply didn't respond- I had to write 3...
