We stay at the Sacajawea Inn every year while we play in a coed hockey tournament in Salmon Idaho. We always have a great time because Barbara and Walter are the best hosts you could ever ask for. Super friendly and extremely accomodating. Love them lots!

My wife and I had a wonderful time. The staff was extremely friendly. Made us feel like family and at home. The rooms were clean and cozy. Looking forward in coming back and staying here again. I know I will be jonsing for those "western potatoes!"

The Sacajawea never disappoints!! Clean, comfortable, affordable, hospitable! You'll be treated like family... A great family! :-) Walter & Barbara offer first class service! The beds are comfortable, the rooms are well furnished with all you need, and the breakfast is fantastic! S'mores over the fire pit were a perfect ending to our day...oh, and the mountain views aren't bad... More

This was a great stay!! Rooms are decorated so cute. We had a room with bears, Painted wall with bears, switch plates were bears-even the toilet paper holder is a bear. Great room for our little Yorkie. So Clean. King sized comfortable bed-Wi-Fi-wonderful breakfast-all for a great price! An A++++ all the way!!!

Barbara & Walt made me feel right at home. Nice clean quiet little room with Wi-Fi and a comfy bed for a great price. Stayed for a month in early 2015. Delicious breakfast made to order every morning. You have to stay here if you are in this area. No disappointments here!

We recently spent a couple of night at the Sacajawea Inn while in town for a hockey tournament. Barbara, the owner, was very pleasant to work with. She was very nice and accommodating. The team had a great time at the fire pit making 'smores and goofing around. This is an older property, but it was clean and warm. Great... More

So here's the deal: best place in town. Beds are soft, rooms are clean, room service everyday, hot breakfast is awesome, management is friendly. WiFi is strong, on site laundry actually works the first time, can't go wrong with this place!

I took a chance and stayed at this little hotel located in the heart of Salmon, Idaho. I was pleasantly surprised by how cute the rooms were. The owner herself made sure I was comfortable and I was. The breakfast was amazing! Very cute fixtures with Old West themed rooms

The hotel is fun, with themed rooms and a cozy atmosphere. What makes it amazing is the warm and friendly hospitality from the owners. Our youth hockey team stayed here, and they bent over backwards to make our stay pleasant and comfortable. The kids had the BEST time cooking smores over the bonfire and running around the large, central open... More

BEST place to stay in Salmon, especially if with a group....with smelly hockey gear and dogs. Have stayed in other motels in the past, and they're just like every other motel, stiff. Barb treats you like family, welcomes your dogs back, cooks an awesome breakfast that should be priced more at $10, fires up a bon fire on the evenings... More
