They don't enforce quiet hours; they don't enforce people that crowd into your camp spot such as if the neighboring camp wants to place an extra tent part way in your camp area; the bathroom doors never lock; the shower curtans are nasty; and worst of all one time the toilet in one of the showers got plugged up and... We've stayed here about 10 times over big holidays and haven't had any problems. The owner is way nice and very helpful. The spots are very nice and clean. The concrete pads are also good to if you don't want to be on dirt. This time we had a problem with rowdy people though from renegade sports. There policies say... More

Well this is the second time this year my family has been to the Sand Hills Resort in St. Anthony Idaho. Each year it gets better. They have had new management for the last three years and it shows. More trees and grass. More stuff in the store and most importantly better sand. It appears the sand is moving east... More

This will be my third year at the Sand Hills Resort. I started out at another RV park in 2011 and had to relocate because of the dust and long road to the dunes. After staying at both RV parks on the sand dunes I have to say this is the best place by far! This place is much more... More

We have stayed here in July 2011 and Sept 2012. The first time we loved it. The second time not as much. The first trip I cracked my clutch cover and the owners borrowed me some JB Weld and I was back up and running for the remainder of the trip. We had a nice site. Green grass and treed... More

The first time we went to Sand Hills was after we had spent a month one week at another close by camp. The good lots close to the store were great, had lots of grass and shade. My family was younger then and liked not having the big hills outside our door. They have grown since. The resort is right... More

The previous reviews were pretty dire, but I don't think it's that bad. It is a long ride to the big dunes, but hey, if you come to ride, that's what you do. It's a haul, but running out of gas probably isn't a problem, even for a bike. Although the big dunes are a ways, the high hills near... More

We have stayed at this spot before about 4 years ago. Thought it was OK, even thought it is a bit farther from the main dunes and good riding. It was nice for us when the kids were younger as there were smaller places to ride. Planned a trip for July 13th, 2012. Paid for everything in April. Our 12... More

BUYERS BEWARE of this place. While the web site depicts lush lawns, shade trees, and cement pads; here’s what they don’t tell you. First of all, it’s a 5-mile drive down the sand highway to reach the major Dunes. Also, each site is individually owned and maintained and can vary substantially in quality. In our case, we reserved sites 42... More
