This is our second stay here, both in the "off season". I grew up in Sandpoint and love to come back to visit. Sandpoint has changed a lot and not always for the better, The Lodge makes Sandpoint feel like home again. We love the deluxe queen room with the view and fireplace. The little kitchenette provides a perfect place... more

Our stay at The Lodge was exceptional!! Front desk staff extremely helpful and friendly. Housekeeping staff was friendly and expedient and laundered items for us. Breakfast was delicious; included proteins, carbs, and fruit. Fabulous views of Pend Orielle lake from the breakfast room, lobby, and our room. Our penthouse room was extremely roomy, appropriately stocked. Fireplace in LR. BR had... more

My husband and I recently spent 2 nights at The Lodge. We didn't have reservations and all they had available were suites. However, the front staff kindly offered to give us a similar discount to one currently offered for a regular room. All of the staff we met were very pleasant. The Lodge and our suite were very, very clean... more

What a beautiful place on the Pend O'rielle River! If you are looking for a romantic get-away, this is the place to stay. The rooms are great with wonderful fireplaces and country charm. The view from the room was breathtaking - with the river and the tree covered mountains(some already with the new snow). Great service. Everyone was very friendly... more

They provide a basket of fleece blankets for guest to use which made my grandaughters very happy. They also had beach toys for guests to use. The other reviews have covered all the great stuff including Dan. The only negatives for me is they did not have any kid rental bikes and the convertable couch was not comfortable but the... more

Dan was very accommodating when we called to ask if the Lodge accepted pets. We were offered one of the old cabins and told we might see a mouse. We never saw the mouse, but enjoyed staying in the cabin, swimming in the lake, watching the sunsets, and eating in the fabulous restaurant next door. The continental breakfast each morning... more

All of the staff were welcoming and helpful, the room in perfect condition, comfortable, spacious and beautifully appointed. There were several of our family members attending a wedding, the hotel has several lovely areas in which to gather. The outside decks are perfect for watching the lake activity. There is plenty of lawn area and a perfect beach setup with... more

Wonderful place to stay - relaxing, very clean and comfortable. We plan on returning. Like other reviewers have said - it is a bit too far to walk into Sandpoint - but that is what makes this place special. more

We had exceptional service from the first day i called to make the reservations. I have made many similar arrangements during my career and I recognize world class service easily. Kim and Daniel clearly obtained that level of service with our group as did the housekeeping staff who went above and beyond our expectations. I would not hesitate recommending this... more

First of all, the setting is breathtaking, is located right on the lake with its own beach. There are lots of lawnchairs on the beach, it was never crowded. The room was VERY clean and VERY nice. Looks new, the continental breakfast was very good as well, lots of variety. We went for walks on the Long Bridge, which is... more
