Although we only had time to spend one night at the Lodge, we definitely plan to stay there again when visiting the Sandpoint area again. The room was very clean, the sheets AMAZING and breakfast was really nice. The view across the lake from our balcony couldn't be beat! It was also nice to have a fireplace in the room.... More

I think the rooms are great and the quiet atmosphere wonderful. I think being able to have a glass of wine from the restaurant brought over to the lodge large open space would be a good addition. I have nothing more to add but I must add more words to my review and I find this rediculus

You could not ask for a more beautiful location. The lobby is grand. Our one bedroom suite was spacious and comfortable, very nice sheets, and decor is classic. In terms of the personnel and direct interaction, they were efficient and answered questions. The reason only 4 stars it seemed they were more concerned with enforcing the rule than caring for... Great facilities and friendly accommodating staff. We only stayed for two nights but would have enjoyed more. Fantastic views from the balcony. The lodge is adjacent to an excellent restaurant which made our stay even better.

My husband and I recently celebrated our anniversary with a trip to The Lodge at Sandpoint, near Sandpoint , Idaho. From the moment you walk through the front doors, you know this is a quality place, with construction reminiscent of old time wood lodges. High beamed ceilings, large rock fireplace, and game tables and leather couches scattered throughout the great... More

Thank-you for your wonderful review and congratulations on your anniversary! The Lodge is a family affair with my husband designing and building it, my parents decorating it (my father made the stain glass windows!) and brothers, sisters and cousins contributing to it's finish. The staff is like family and it does all of our hearts good when a guest truly... More

Last year when I took a position with a company headquartered in Sandpoint, Idaho, I had little idea what to expect when I would go to visit there. When our company first booked me in at the Lodge, I thought perhaps they were treating me to a special new employee welcome - turns out I'm lucky enough that this is... More

My husband and I stayed here recently off season and you would have never known. Some places off season the staff are so layed back you feel like you are bothering them by staying there. This Lodge is spectacular and everyone there was exemplary. I will stay here again next time in Sandpoint. The view was amazing from our room... More

Everything was wonderful, our room spacious with beautiful view, and comfy bed and pillows. The lodge was rustic and peaceful, great for reading or games. Celebrated a birthday in the 41 South restaurant where the service was fun and everyone thoroughly enjoyed their meal. It wasn't until we migrated to the bar to watch our favorite Idaho football teams that... More

Thank-you for taking the time to share your experience. I am so sorry to read about your experience in the lounge. While it is true we are on the same property the lodge and the lounge are owned and operated separately. We do enjoy a symbiotic relationship and I will pass on this information. We look forward to your return.... More
