been staying here for 3 years now. Love it. Staff is very nice and rooms are very clean. Like the beach area. Not so crowded because it is for guests only. They have really good green tea ice cream and chocolate torte at the sushi resturant. Looked at renting a cabin up on lake Pend'orille and they are pricy. The... More

I selected The Lodge at Sandpoint for my wife and I to stay on our honeymoon. Our stay there provided the quiet and relaxing get away that we were both looking for. All of the modern amenities one could ask for were available, along with with friendly and informative staff. The stay wasn't cheap, but worth every penny. A complimentary... More

Stayed here on 8/17 for one night. at $220. The room was nice. The breakfast was OK, nothing special. Not the best I've experienced but far from the worst. . The lobby and deck were very nice. The price was high.

We decided to go on a motorcycle trip from Whitefish, MT to Sandpoint, Idaho for our 24th wedding anniversary so I wanted a hotel that was lake side so once we arrived we could dine have some wine & spend some time outside our room without having to ride our bikes. Perfect spot! It was odd that when we arrived... More

Thank-you for taking the time to share your experience. We do have a soft spot for motorcycles (the owner rides one) and realize they are more vulnerable to the weather than cars. Congratulations on your anniversary! We hope to see you again. Lodge at Sandpoint More

We stayed at the Lodge for the first time and the staff and owners (Glen and Leslie) were very accommodating to any questions and requests that we made. Our room was clean and the air conditioner worked with no issues. The Lodge offers plenty of outdoor seating with beautiful views. There is also a small sand beach and the kids... More

I booked 3 nights here. It looked to be the best place in town and my husband and I were visiting his sister who lived right down the street. It was also our anniversary and we decided to spend a little extra money on a nice hotel. The first day we were there we went to grab something to eat... More

Bethany, I am VERY sorry to read your experience at our hotel. We work very hard to provide the best service and accommodations in the area. We have never had this happen before and have reinstilled our policy with our staff to never have this happen again! Please accept my offer for 1 free night in our lakeside studio in... More

We are in a room whose windows overlook a public walk space, partially below grade, in spite of the fact that the hotel is essentially empty. We asked for a change and were told that it would cost us much more. We are platinum Starwood members, platinum Marriott and gold Hilton travelers and are not used to this kind of... More

This couple booked on line into our most affordable room which is thoroughly described on our website. Upon check-in they started complaining about their room. They said if we did not upgrade them for free they would write a bad review on trip advisor. I guess they did? More

The biggest problem that we have had in the past was the noise from the "in room" ice makers. That problem has been removed. The rooms are appointed beautifully. If you are looking for quite you will have to adjust to the noise from other guest and the highway. The views are outstanding. This is our go to place in... More

Decided against Best Western as train running thru rooms ( well almost ) as we pulled up outside. Found the Lodge by accident , and so glad we did Staff could do nothing more to be helpful and friendly. Bed was so comfortable , nearly missed the complimentary breakfast. Evening time , sat on the deck overlooking the stunning scenery... More

We planned a vacation in Glacier National Park. However, the weather in June did not cooperate and we found ourselves deciding whether to tough it out, head home or try to find another place to visit that wasn't too far away. I had heard great things about Lake Pend Oreille in Idaho and after a quick search, called the Lodge... More
