We stayed here on Valentine's night and had a wonderul night. The rooms/hotel has a northwest feel. The bed was very comfortable. The fireplace wasn't working, but by the time we came back from our fantastic dinner at Fourty-One South, it was fixed and there was a bottle of wine given to us for the trouble.

This was our second summer trip to The Lodge at Sandpoint, and they did not disappoint. We stayed in room 40 on the top floor with a king bed in the living room area and another in a separate bedroom, along with a spacious bathroom (no tub if that's important; to us it wasn't). We had a deck overlooking the... More

We stayed a night in a spacious and clean 1 bedroom! What a relief to have a fluffy bed and glorious AC!! A great night sleep...but before that we enjoyed the water! Fantastically clean and warm water was a perfect way to beat the heat!! Beach area was not crowded at all which we were surprised at! The continental breakfast... More

we stayed 3 days and 2 nights at the Lodge! Everything was wonderful, from the staff to the immaculate clean rooms, large kitchen with appliances and great beds to sleep in! The view is "magnificent"! We enjoyed a 2nd wedding anniversary dinner at 41 South and it was OUTSTANDING! including the presentation, flavors and ambiance!

We stayed here for a little winter getaway for my birthday (from 12/26 to 12/31). We arrived to very little snow only to have a wonderful dumping that evening. The snow stayed for the whole trip and it was wonderful. Overall, we really loved this place. The women at the front desk were phenomenal. When we got to our room,... More

Thank-you for taking the time to share some constructive criticism. It's funny to read about snow in June. We do offer to do laundry for $10.00/load. We did have a breaker trip in the cafe which may have been the problem with the microwave but I only heard about it one time. I'm sorry to read that it was an... More

Although we only had time to spend one night at the Lodge, we definitely plan to stay there again when visiting the Sandpoint area again. The room was very clean, the sheets AMAZING and breakfast was really nice. The view across the lake from our balcony couldn't be beat! It was also nice to have a fireplace in the room.... More

I think the rooms are great and the quiet atmosphere wonderful. I think being able to have a glass of wine from the restaurant brought over to the lodge large open space would be a good addition. I have nothing more to add but I must add more words to my review and I find this rediculus

You could not ask for a more beautiful location. The lobby is grand. Our one bedroom suite was spacious and comfortable, very nice sheets, and decor is classic. In terms of the personnel and direct interaction, they were efficient and answered questions. The reason only 4 stars it seemed they were more concerned with enforcing the rule than caring for... Great facilities and friendly accommodating staff. We only stayed for two nights but would have enjoyed more. Fantastic views from the balcony. The lodge is adjacent to an excellent restaurant which made our stay even better.

My husband and I recently celebrated our anniversary with a trip to The Lodge at Sandpoint, near Sandpoint , Idaho. From the moment you walk through the front doors, you know this is a quality place, with construction reminiscent of old time wood lodges. High beamed ceilings, large rock fireplace, and game tables and leather couches scattered throughout the great... More

Thank-you for your wonderful review and congratulations on your anniversary! The Lodge is a family affair with my husband designing and building it, my parents decorating it (my father made the stain glass windows!) and brothers, sisters and cousins contributing to it's finish. The staff is like family and it does all of our hearts good when a guest truly... More
