We did not stay at Keegan's but had drinks (pina colada, lime squash, milkshake) and snacks (conch bites) and chair rentals there. The staff was friendly and the curried goat special was good. A nice relaxing place on the beach.

Right at the end of the last beach. So glad we waited and didn't eat somewhere else. A large table of ex pats happily absorbed in board games. This place is totally chilled and at the end of the beach. So looked at the menu all looks good but see something I have t tasted before conch curry. Not disappointed... More

We stayed in Apt. #11. Coming from our lovely home to this apt at first seems not so great. After 24 hours all is well. A perfect place and location if you want to self cater at times and right on the beach. The owners are continually cleaning the grounds. I would suggest bringing a new kitchen sponge and if... More

We visited here for breakfast. The location is great, right on a quiet bit of beautiful beach. However the service was pretty poor. We were looking to have a leisurely breakfast on the beach anyway and were in no rush but this was slow to another level and the staff were not overly attentive. The food was nice enough and... One often encounters considerable noise at night in the tropics from insects, roosters, dogs, and blasting bars. Having just come from an extremely noisy night on Union Island, this hotel was a refreshing exception to the norm. There was not an extraneously night sound to be heard to interrupt one's sleep. This is a small hotel with ample sized rooms... More

We did not stay in the hotel on our visit to bequia but we did have dinner and lunch there and the service was excellent. They were kind and very helpful in answering any questions we had about bequia. The food was great and came in a timely fashion. They were even kind enough to call the taxi for us... More

The rooms at Keagens Beachside ranged from a single room to full apartments. We managed to look round all of them with the owners permission. We had booked the smallest single room (as we were trying to make up for a "splash" out at our previous hotel). It was not pretty, but totally functional. The facilites all worked and the... More

Have been going to Keegans for years, love it! Not touristie! Don't want people trying to sell me stuff or fight for chairs on the beach.(take our own) Can wander the Island day and night safely, everyone helpful. We stay for a month now we are retired. Can walk most places, or get the Dollar Bus. Beats Winter in Ontario,... More

On the first day of our stay at Keegans I broke my wrist - not on the premises but on my way into Port Elizabeth. Smitty who owns these lovely apartments couldn't have been more helpful. He got me and my husband to the local doctor that evening, then rearranged his next day schedule so he could escort us on... More

I stayed overnight at Keegan's beachside in September for one night before boarding a catamaran cruise. The price was great at $40 usd per night with a friendly staff and good restaurant menu. The service was slow, but hey it's island time and I've found this to be the norm in almost all the Caribbean. The rooms were basic but... More
