This Best Western was just great! We came to Orofino for a cheerleading competition and stayed for 2 nights. We arrived late in the evening and we were so surprised to wake up that first morning to that gorgeous view. We had a great balcony with a view of the river and our kids got to see a fisherman catch... more

This is a very nice hotel and very reasonably priced. The lodge-style building is located on the bank of the Clearwater River in Orofino, ID. It is off the highway and a couple of blocks from the main street of the town. Rooms are large and the beds are very comfortable, with lots of pillows provided. Regular rooms have a... more

We were able to upgrade to a suite for the first night- it was amazing, had a hot tub, fireplace, skylights, and TONS of space! Absolutely relaxing. Had a normal room the second night and that was nice too. We'll be coming back to stay in the suite again. Serive was fantastic. more

Imagine suddenly finding a clean pleasant hotel in a lovely area by a pretty little river with friendly helpful staff a good lounge bar and then realising that it isn't expensive at all. That's what happened to me. I really liked the Lodge at River's Edge. Large car park. Attractive restaurant with good food. I could have stayed a lot... more

While on a motorcycle trip around Idaho, my buddy and I stayed in 4 Best Western motels. The first three were satisfactory but we were surprised how expensive it was to stay in the ski resort towns of Ketchum and McCall. The last night of our trip we ended up in Orofino and decided to check out the Best Western... more

Stayed here for one night in early August while following the Lewis and Clark Trail - it was ideal to visit the Weippe Prairie and Clearwater River route. It was a hidden gem, given its fairly isolated location for a large hotel. Lots of people must pass on Highway 12 and not know of its existence. The hotel itself was... more

This is a very pleasant and relaxing hotel on the river. The hotel and the grounds are neat and tidy; our room was well-equipped with comfortable bed, small refrigerator, and deck with table and chairs. The main patio with the fire pits were well done. The pool and hot tub area left a bit to be desired. The hot tub... more

The view from our room was great, we were on the ground floor so we also had great access. But the bad things about being on the ground floor is you also get a lot of ants in your room. The hotel is aware of the problem and there's not really much they can do, which we totally understood. The... more

I first noticed BW Orofino a couple of years ago when driving Hwy 12 and thought at that time that I'd love to stay there. I assumed it was expensve, but since my BF and I decided to go on a Harley ride over Lolo Pass and "beyond" over 4th of July weekend I decided to check in on lodging... more

We booked this room to celebrate an early Valentine's Day. In addition we made reservations at the restaurant for dinner. It was perfect. The ambiance in the restaurant was perfect for a romantic dinner for two. The waiter was extremely friendly and knowledgable. I can't begin to explain just how much I loved the bed in our room. It was... more
