I have stayed here several times over the past 20 years and it is always a marvellous experience. The location, the scenery, the rooms provide a great place to relax and let one be treated with great food, conversation and respect

Very welcoming. Great breakfast (no meat, though, if this is important to you). Eclectic decor. Just down the road from MIguasha Nat'l Park. Pretty close to Ristagouche Nat'l Park and crossing for New Brunswick.

On our way from Percé to Riviere du Loup we found this B&B by chance. As we did not yet have accomodation for the night we just asked if they had any vacancy for 4 people and they did. The rooms all have a different decor and private bathrooms. We had a huge room "Claude & Olive" with one of... More

General: The Wanta qo ti is a jewel tucked away, out of sight, on the Bay of Chaleur at Escuminac (directly across from Dalhousie, N.B.). The idea orginated with the owner, Bruce Wafer, current mayor of Escuminac, to turn an old fish processing plant into a cosy B&B right on the waterfront. Once a lawyer and later, a second language... We learned about Bruce's B&B through a close friend. On arriving, we fell in love with the place. The exterior stands out from the seascape with lovely gardens. The interior pays homage to Mexican decor with bold colours and eye catching artwork. Walking on the beach was a great way to unwind after a long drive. Bruce was a witty... More

We arrived right after Tropical Storm Arthur had done considerable damage to the Gaspe in August, 2014. To our relief, power was on when we arrived late in the afternoon. It did go out for a few hours, but was on again by dark. Even so, we were assured that our stay would be a comfortable one no matter what... More

My partner and two teenaged sons stayed at Wanta-Qo-Ti on the first two nights of a week long visit to the Gaspé. I was delighted to find that it was just as beautiful as the photos suggest - garden, beach and beautifully decorated and wonderfully comfortable rooms. Breakfast also wonderful.
