Montpelier is a lovely small town, and a refreshing change from the usual "hotel strip off the interstate". There are about 4 motel options in this town. If you need the usual McDonalds,Starbucks,an Applebees and a 24 hour CVS, nearby, this is not the town for you. This Super 8 fits with the flavor of the town. It appears to... more

Considering they are about the only game in town, this isn't a bad option. Looks like it's relatively new, so rooms were spacious and decent enough. Staff was friendly, good breakfast in the morning - someone was making fresh waffles, which was a nice. I have to say avoid the restaurant next door - Butch Cassidy's, I think it was... more

Stayed here very early August 2008. This is the King of all Super 8s. Clean, spacious rooms, friendly staff, in-room microwave and fridge. When you walk into this Super 8, the smell of cleaner fills the air. They take pride in running a tight ship, as they are consistently awarded the highest honor among Super 8s -- They are the... more

This was a decent place to stay but nothing special. They did try to brighten things up a bit with flowers at the entry and the lobby/ breakfast room is light and open. The hotel is older but clean, the décor is dated but there was a newer microwave and refrigerator in the room. The room did have a musty... more

We needed decent, moderately-priced lodging while traveling through the region and this Super 8 satisfied our needs. Room was clean and quiet with basic, working amenities as promised. Complimentary breakfast included made-to-order waffles from the staff, as well as the regular cold cereals, toast, coffee and juice served in modest surroundings. Overall, just about what you’d expect from a Super... more

We stayed one night at the hotel, and were really impressed for the price! Our room was just $65.00, including tax. I never stay at Super 8 Motels, but decided to take a chance based on the Trip Advisor reviews, and I was not disappointed. Room was basic, but very clean. Not stark, like some budget motel rooms I've seen.... more

I totally agree with the reviews below, VERY good, especially at the price paid. We have never stayed at a Super 8 before, but this hotel has us thinking we will certainly consider them in the future. more

This hotel is very clean and comfortable, and the service is excellent. While we were waiting in the lobby a German couple came in to use the phone. It turned out that they had lost all of their credit cards and money and wanted to phone their previous hotel, which was some 200 miles back along the road, in the... more

A complete confirmation of the May reviewer. Very nice place in every way. Super 8 would typically be pretty far down our list of choices - but this property is a certain exception. I wonder if Super 8 posts its rankings for the public? more

This Super 8 Motel really needs to be brought to the attention of any one planning to go north 0n Hwy. 89 from Utah towards Tetons and Yellowstone or returning from there. Although I am prejudiced against lower price motels (I think housekeeping is atrocious in lower priced motels because of low pay for help and lack of qualified supervision... more
