We stayed 1 night at this property -- it was a great value in McCall, Idaho. The rooms are clean and spacious. The lodging also came with a complimentary breakfast. The only thing we should have done differently is ensured the room alarm clock was off. We had an early wake up to an alarm at 5:30am!! more
It took us 30 minutes to get checked in. The front desk had us down as a “No Show” when I specifically told them we were coming on Saturday and leaving Sunday. They handed us the paper to sign and they were over charging us for the room we reserved. They were rude and we will never go back. This... more
My wife and I plus our two dogs had a wonderful stay. There are only 3 pet friendly hotels in McCall so the Western Mountain Lodge met our needs. They have a huge breakfast spread and I think we were the only ones staying in the hotel so it was way over the top for them to put out so... more
Great stay- room was clean-breakfast was the best we have seen in many travels, have stayed here in Aug 2006 and the motel is much improved as it is under new management more
Don't bother staying here. The hotel needs updating, it's run down and tired looking. Spend the money and go to the new Holiday Inn Express more
Western Mountain Lodge is under new ownership and new management. New management took effect mid January of 2007. We are starting with a great new staff, clean comfortable rooms, friendly, efficient desk clerks. At check in we were greeted with a staff person eating pizza AND talking to us at the same time. Gross. Rooms hadn't been cleaned when we checked in. No towels. Had to ask for just about everything. New, clean, spacious and well-equipped rooms! Lucky for me I was able to get a room here after spending one noisy night in the cramped and dirty Brundage Inn. The hotel has clean rooms, fairly well equipped (iron, microwave, coffee maker). There is a hot-tub (hot!) and an indoor swimming pool, and the hotel is within easy walking distance from some restaurants and the downtown shopping area. Good bet. more
