We were very pleased that we chose to stay at Hotel McCall. The hotel itself was very nice, newly renovated but with a lot of character. We stayed in a 2 BR condo in the new wing, overlooking the bocce courts and Bistro 45. The beds were comfortable, the kitchen was very well-equipped (although we did not use it much),... more

We stayed here last weekend for our Anniversary and my DH and I both loved it! We were in a King room and the bed was awesome, the restroom very clean and spacious and we even had a little balcony overlooking Bistro 45 behind the hotel. It was simply perfect! It was also very nice to be in the center... more

We stayed at 4 different places on our Idaho/Montana trip and for the money, this ranks up there at the top. We had a beautiful room- completely renovated with a gorgeous bathroom, huge bed, couch, TV/DVD player etc. Very clean, very nice. We didn't have a view, but we don't sit in our rooms looking out the windows anyway. The... more

Very nice location in the center of McCall. Walking distance to restaurants, waterfront, marina, gift shops, farmer's market, bike rentals. Easy parking. We rented the lakeview condo which was an excellent room with full kitchen and washer/dryer. Beautiful view, amazing to wake up and look out over the lake. Very nice indoor pool. Book and DVD library and a nice... more

Definitely still the "quaint" award winner for McCall. The extensive remodel about 1-2 years ago adds an elevator, and rooms include DVD players, so we enjoyed a Netflix we brought with, and the front desk also has movies available. The free evening wine and cookie hour is now just cookies and milk since state police cracked down on alcohol non-licensed... more

Very nice hotel. Small and personal. Rooms in the new wing are more modern, larger and have AC. Our party stayed in the new wing on 3rd floor, on the road side (309) and also on 2nd floor (201). Both rooms were very nice. They gave us a discount on 201 because it's near an AC unit and you can... more

I should have written this review years ago. I have stayed at the Hotel McCall on business trips at leat 50 times since 1990. This place is absolutely terrific. Very quiet, very comfortable, very nice staff. I usually ask for a room on the back side, only because there is occasional nighttime traffic on the street side. The hotel is... more

What a quiet, relaxing time. The Hotel McCall has not been updated (at least the "older section). It was spotlessly clean and quiet...but the summer tourist season may change that. Wine, cookies, milk in the evenings. Coffee in the hallways beginning at 6am with 7:30 continental breakfast. Our room was #40, King private bath lakeview for $100. Perfect. Free wireless internet.... more

My husband and I enjoyed our stay here, though I had expected more based on the rave reviews from friends. The location is perfect, and the hotel does indeed have a quaint charm with ammenities like early evening wine in the lobby and a lovely family room from which to borrow books and magazines. The room we had was small... more

This is a real jewell of a place. We stumbled upon it driving down Idaho 55, randomly looking for a place to stay. It is on a lake, and several second floor rooms have great views of the lake shore area. The restaurant, 'The Epicurean' is excellent -- with local and European favorites (although not really cheap). The present hotel... more
