Nancy and Kenn are the quintessential owners and hosts. You would think their entire goal is not to make a living, but to take care of their guests needs and desires. But of course this attitude is the hallmark of a very successful venture and they are the best. I have know this motel/guest setting for many years and none... More

The Steelhead Inn is attractive from the moment you turn into the drive, clean, nicely maintained, well appointed, and cozy. Kenn and Nancy have created a homey atmosphere, with all of the amenities. We felt very welcomed. We will be back!

The rooms are simple but clean and filled with everything you could need. It's a very peaceful place with the river flowing by and horses and deer feeding on the shore. Nancy and Kenn are immediately like old friends. A kitchen filled with everything you could want for breakfast and even fresh banana bread...yum! The grounds were beautiful..filled with flowers... Kenn and Nancy just hosted the first part of our multi-part 50 year class reunion. What a wonderful place to gather with friends and reminisce. The Brown's have added to the landscape flora and built a wonderful gazebo overlooking the Salmon River. This is truly a home away from home. We'll be back again and again!

Ken and Nancy run a beautiful little Inn on the salmon River. We stayed two nights there and was extremely impressed with the service, cleanliness and overall conditions of the rooms. The at home atmosphere for making yourself a snack or breakfast was over the top in convenience. It was literally like staying in a home. Thanks so much for... More

So much has been done since our last visit !!! New paint, new room decorating, fabulous landscaping , and a new gazebo overlooking the river to list a few. The dining room is FULLY stocked with makings for a great breakfast. Bring your own meat for a BBQ in the evening (no restaurants within 15+ miles). A visit with Kenn... More

The rooms are clean, large and well decorated; the entire location is beautifully landscaped; the proprietors are friendly and dedicated to making your stay perfect and the view of the river and wildlife is outstanding. They provide a "dining room" available to all guests for do-it-yourself breakfasts or other meals. The refrigerator is stocked with, in addition to the basics, wonderful... More

Stayed here after the room I had booked in a nearby town was not available and it was a pleasure. The location is perfect, big rooms with kitchen next to the river. The owners are friendly and very hospitable. The dining room is big and guests can have breakfast at any time and are not just limited to breakfast items.... More

If you require chrome and glitz, this place is not for you. But if you want a clean, big room located on a lush oasis on the banks of the Salmon river this place is for you. Enjoy the landscaped areas complete with chairs to sit and watch the boats. The owners, Ken and Nancy, will make you feel right... More

Incredible scenery, awesome hosts, spotless rooms. This isn't a B&B where you're sharing a house with strangers. Its a great motel, probably the best we've ever stayed in & we've stayed in a lot hotels. The rooms were spacious, decorated beautifully with many thoughtful extras. I didn't expect shampoo & conditioner but they were there as well as paper plates,... More
