I was concerned about booking a room here after noting the disparity in the comments below. It seemed some people loved it, saying it was new and nice, and others complained about their room needing updating and being noisy. I went ahead and booked a room through Priceline but noticed that the room was listed as a "standard" double queen.... More

First the good: the room size was fantastic and worked well for six people. New flat screen tv..would say a 32 inch maybe. The room was clean, with a newer granite counter and tile flooring in the bathroom, although the shower/tub looked a like it was still from the 70's and was a little scary. The staff was friendly and... More

I have stayed here numerous nights. And as long as you stay on the main building side you will enjoy your stay. The other building across the parking lot is older and not as updated and nice as the main building. When you stay here you get Free use of the health club across the parking lot which is always... The Red Lion is a five star place to stay at an affordable price. The people where so friendly and helpful. The rooms where emmaculate and the bathrooms where spotless, everything smelled clean as bleach. I was impressed and I am picky-picky when it comes to clean.

We could not have asked for friendlier service, the attendant went out of her way to make us feel welcome. The room where we stayed was clean and very nice. what we had not anticipated was being able to hear the man next door snoring throughout the night, nor the partiers returning to their rooms and talking very loudly in... After arriving on the late night flight, my special request for a corner room was not honored. I was then given a room and was told it was a corner, it was not. After finally being put in a room in a separate building, the sheets were soiled. When maintenance brought new sheets, I had to make the bed. After... More

The hotel is a little dated, low ceilings, poor maintenance. The bath tub had a lot of mold. The wind whistled through the windows.

I stayed at the Red Lion while attending a dog show at the Nez Perce Fairgrounds. The fact that they allowed dogs was a plus and only three miles from the fairgrounds another plus. There were 8 of us staying in four rooms and we asked to have adjoining rooms. We were put in a separate building across from the... More

I have stayed often at the Red Lion hotel in Lewiston, ID and while it is an older facility, it is still very nice and the staff is exceedingly accommodating. Highly recommend.
