Right next to the river. Rooms were clean, and comfy beds. Right across the street from the hot-spots. But the rooms are VERY unsafe. They have "bathroom" door knobs for the main entrance of every room. If you don't have the chain locked, someone could totaly break into your room. Not to mention, they leave your key in your room,... More

I liked the full kitchen, the fact that it was off the main road so it was quiet, the fireplace, and the rates. I didn't like the carpet, bathroom linoleum, and the fact that there was no furniture other than beds. There was no DVD player, but that was okay. So if you're used to staying at The Hilton or... There is no iron/ironing board, hair dryer, a phone, or cental air conditioning (its wall mounted) and not all the cable channels come in... More

We found the motel rooms very clean and comfortable. I liked that there were two bedrooms, and a kitchen included. The motel was a central location and we were able to walk to the resturants and hot pools.

First of all be careful when going to Lava hot springs at all, this is a very ugly small town. Every picture I looked at before making reservations (regarding the town and especially Dempsey Creek Lodge) is in some form a mis- advertisement. It looks nothing like the pictures. From the pictures it looks like Dempsey Creek Lodge would be... More
