Loved our little room here. Decorated very nicely. Homey and comfortable. The TV was not the best ever and the WiFi was iffy, but not a big deal for one night's stay. You have to watch your step in this room because of a few tricky steps. I especially liked the nook with the table and chairs. Great ambiance!

My dad booked this hotel for a family vacation with me and my siblings right after Christmas as a gift. We arrived three hours early and had no problem checking in early. We changed right into our suits and went to the local hot springs, less than a mile down the road. After soaking, we were easily able to walk... More

We loved staying here. The lady at the checkin office was so kind and welcoming. The rooms were clean and we were well taken care of. I would definitely recommend staying at the Alpaca Inn. We will be back next time we visit the Hot Springs.

Stoped in Lava Hot Springs Idaho to go to the hot pools and spend the night. Had a hard time finding a room, but on our last call the Alpaca Inn said they had some one cancle. What great luck for us. They held the room untill we got there and I have never meet a staff so friendly and... More

Stayed in their private 'Cottage' with the family. Has sleeping for eight. Two queens and two fold out beds, full size fridge, oven, microwave. The manager was very helpful and courteous. Was looking around at many places and found the Alpaca Inn online with great reviews. After staying I can see why. Well worth the money! Only slight issue is... More

Last minute stop in Lava. Made a phone call and everything was easily taken care of. Friendly and thorough service. The rooms are clean and oh sooooooo cozy!!!! They need to franchise this out and put one in every small country town! I'm at awe with this little INN and it takes a lot to impress me. Lol! If ur... More

The inn sits half a block off Main Street and offers cozy, clean rooms. The beds were acceptable, and the woman at the front desk was friendly, offering extra towels, coffee and tea. Decor is all things alpaca, as the owners have an alpaca farm a few miles out of town. Our bathroom was compact and low-ceilinged. We discovered that... More

The hosts were friendly and helpful, advising us where to eat and how the pools worked. The place looks like it once was a cheap motel, but it is now lushly landscaped with nice places to sit outside as well as a BBQ area. The room was quiet and prettily furnished. The alpaca rugs on display are lovely. The room... More

Lava Hot Springs is a somewhat downmarket hot springs with lodgings of varying quality -- some of them rather unappealing. We drove by 5 of those listed in Trip Advisor before settling on Alpaca Inn as the standout just by its exterior appearance. It's on a quiet side street with all rooms facing a perfectly manicured little yard and parking... More

We were very impressed. The owners were warm, helpful and friendly. The rooms were beautifully decorated, stylish, well furnished and extremely clean. There were various pillows to choose from and an excellent air conditioner. There is an outdoor grill that you can use! There are cute little patio tables. The grounds, grass and flowers were very well maintained.
