We stayed at the Alpaca in mid-February and loved our stay! Our large room (#8) was very comfortable, charmingly decorated, very clean, with thoughtful amenities like a small fridge, microwave, hair dryer, and small sitting area. The keyless entry worked great and it was very handy to not have to worry about a key. It was clear the owners put... More

Great place to stay. And though the Blue Moon Bar is just across the street, it was quiet and the room was nicely appointed. The owner and staff were great. DVD player in the room and a plethora of "free" moves to choose from. Just ask at the front desk and they hand you a case loaded with them. Write... More

The alpaca inn was a place my wife had heard about online, so we decided to give it a shot. To start off, we stayed 3 nights/4 days, and got the spa package which included a massage for both myself and my wife. It was about $430, which was quite good taking into account all we got + the massages... More

We like to find unique places to stay when traveling, instead of chain hotels along the interstate. Lava Hot Springs and the Alpaca Inn were perfect! Our room was clean and very comfortable for our family of four. The owner was wonderful to work with. We checked in, then walked the short distance to the mineral hot springs and the... More

We make an annual trip to Lava every Martin Luther King weekend and like to try out differing hotels. This one has so far been the best. The staff was extremly nice and we had no problems what-so-ever. The hotel was walking distance to everything. And I just LOVED the Alpaca's! So cute to see the pictures on the wall.... More

My family of four stayed at Alpaca Inn in mid-November. We stayed in the family unit. It is clean, and the Alpaca motif is charming. We purchased a package that provided a massage for each of us. There was no private space to put the massage table, so we spent four hours trying to give the massage recipient on the... More

Clean and comfortable old school motel. Microwave, fridge, dining table, tv, dvd, and extra pillows. Located across the street from Blue Moon bar and a few steps from main street shops and hot springs...nuf said.

My wife and I only just arrived and the owner (Londa) made us feel so welcome. She wanted to make sure we had everything we needed. We settled right in for a comfortable stay. This is the place to stay in town.

The Alpaca Inn is just an excellent place - Londa and Jody are so friendly and accommodating, and the location is perfect, right off of the main street and not far from the hot springs. The room was decorated beautifully, and had all the amenities you need, yet still felt cozy. The property is gorgeous, beautiful landscaping and a nice... More

We had 30 of us staying at the Alpaca Inn for a family reunion. We used 5 of the 8 rooms. It was perfect for us! The location is excellent. We love that the rooms all open to a boardwalk around a big grassy area. The children had a wonderful time playing on the grass, and the adults could visit... More
