My wife and I drove up to Lava on a Friday evening to enjoy the hot pools, a nice dinner and enjoy our time together. I planned ahead for this trip to ensure it would be a special one and found this Inn. Thanks to the Alpaca's perfect style, unrivaled cleanliness and super friendly staff, ,my wife and I loved... more

The Alpaca inn was wonderful. Friendly staff that greeted you. Had coffee/tea/cocoa service in the room. Extremely comfortable beds. Clean and wonderful. 2 negatives: 1. located right next to a bar (but, it wasn't loud or obnoxious). Lava is a small town. Put me off at first but, realized after that it was fine. 2. the heater was a little... more

Through a family passing and the misfortune (malfunction of necessities) of another establishment in the Lava area which we were accustomed to staying, we were redirected to the accommodations of the Alpaca Inn. Upon a late arrival to the Inn, a phone call was made and within a VERY short amount of time, we were within our room. Upon entering,... more

Rooms were spacious and very clean and very comfortable. Sheets were of very high tread count, felt very nice, just like home. Excellent restaurants in walking distance. Owners, Londa and Jody, made you feel almost like family. Nice flowered courtyard with grill available. This is the place to stay in Lava Hot Springs. While there I over heard another guest... more

My wife and I have been going to Lava Hot Springs ("Lava") for over fifteen years as a quiet little getaway from where we live in Salt Lake City. As avid "hot-springers," we really enjoy Lava's unique hot springs, but we have always wished for better lodgings than what was available. Quite frankly, all of the hotels in Lava have... more

After a long drive we were glad we had a clean room and a friendly staff when we arrived. The rooms were clean, cozy, and quite and the owners were more than willing to meet our needs. A great value for the price and I look forward to the next visit! more

The Alpaca Inn was my daughter's favorite hotel on our 2-week trip. She loved the smell of the room, the shampoo, and the soap. The beds were really comfortable. The room was small and the bathroom was tiny, but it was clean and overall good value. My only problem was that I was charged $17 more than I was quoted... more

We stayed at the inn one night prior to driving up to Yellowstone. Even though the town is a bit rustic the Alpaca Inn was clean, neat, fabulously renovated and a good deal ($129/night)! Four stayed in a room with two doubles and a sleeper sofa. The beds were scrumptously comfy, topped with new linens, plus a tv, microwave, and... more

We were on a driving vacation and were in southeastern Idaho looking for a place to stay. I found the Alpaca Inn on tripadvisor and it had great reviews. The room and the service of the owner exceeded my expectations, even so. We found the room to be super clean, well equipped, and comfortable for our stay. Free wireless internet... more

We stayed one night at The Alpaca Inn, which was the nicest hotel on our vacation. The room was very clean and attractive and the manager couldn't have been nicer. more
