We had been driving from Glacier National Park in Montana back home to Portland, Oregon, through a remote (but beautiful) part of Idaho, and had suffered lengthy delays getting through road construction. We didn't know where we would find a place to stay, given that tourist facilities were at a minimum. We thought we'd have to settle for something very... more

We are repeat customers and find Reflections always congenial and comfortable. It is always completely clean, offers excellent food, has great facilities, and convivial hosts. If you enjoy the bed and breakfast experience, this is a spot that will please. more

Dear Traveler, If you're looking to get off the beaten path, even in Idaho, then this is the place. Ruth and Jim May took such good care of us. It's not a typical B&B - the rooms are separate from the house. We had the end room closest to the Clearwater River and could hear it flow by all night.... more

This bed and breakfast inn had everything we needed during a short trip through northern Idaho into Montana. The rooms are charming and commodious. The breakfast is excellent and hosts are friendly and helpful. There are nice places on the property where you can sit and enjoy the views of forested mountains. Although the inn is across the road from... more

The Inn is located on the Clearwater River with lots of peace and serenity offered by the wonderful hosts, Ruth and her husband Jim. This is a perfect place for adults to get completely away from it all or interact with the hosts or do as much outdoor activites as you like. Although it's not specifically set up for children,... more

The Reflections Inn is situated in a scenic valley on the Clearwater River, it's in between two towns, but in a remote location just off US 12 that's great for hiking, rafting, kayaking or just relaxing. The owners, Jim and Ruth are great. The breakfasts are excellent, and the property is lovely with an open fire and a hot tub.... more

My only regret is that I did not have more time to spend at Reflections Inn - I was there just one night - my whole stay was only 24 hours. The rooms are each different - clean and quiet. There is a new suite with a kitchen unit. After a warm welcome Saturday afternoon from Ruth and Jim, the... more

Myself, my sister, and two friends stayed at the Reflections Inn in June, 2007, after spending several days camping in Glacier National Park (in the snow in JUNE!). We only stayed one night, however, wished we could have stayed more. The four of us arrived a bit late after our long drive, but our hosts were very accommodating and welcoming.... more

We were fortunate to snag the last available room here over Labor Day weekend. It was well worth it. The innkeepers, Ruth & Jim, are very personable; the rooms are comfortable and well-kept; the breakfast was excellent (that morning it was blackberry pancakes, lots of fresh fruit, etc.); and the location is quiet and restful. We didn't try out the... more

We spent three wonderful nights at Reflections Inn before our journey up the Long and Winding Road that is Highway 12. The room was large, comfortable and well equipped with a communal balcony outside. The hosts Jim and Ruth, and the Manager, Douglas were all very welcoming and nothing was too much trouble for them. There was lemonade and ice... more
