Just got back from taking three of my grandsons to Silver Mountain Star Lodge. We rented the Pricey Loft room. Worth every penny of it. It was a wonderful visit wished we would of had more time to let the boys play the second day, but had to get back. Room was incredible and staff were wonderful. Buildings are a... more

Had a great time visiting the family while staying at Morning Star Lodge. Spent the whole day at the water park and there was never a dull moment. I do plan on staying there again this spring. The only thing I will do different is I will stay longer! more

Finding the room is close to impossible. None of the buildings are numbered. After a 15 minute search with ski's and bags we found the condo unit....facing the I 90 freeway(NOISY). It was a handicapped accessible unit with counters, etc. for people in wheelchairs, trouble is we both are tall upright people. We were given another unit that took literally... more

We were in North Idaho visiting family (and a new grand baby!) and we had brought all of our ski gear for some extra get away fun time at one of the local ski mountains. I found a great deal online for a 2 night ski/stay package for 2 at the Sliver Mountain Morning Star Lodge in Kellogg, ID (... more

Deceptive advertising. Built and run by fifth graders. High prices for lack of service and comforts. 100 gallon garden tubs in condos only have 40 gallon or 50 gallon hot water heaters, so hot baths are impossible. Managements excuse? "Each unit is individually owned, so we don't have control over many features...". Seriously, they knowingly sold us a $300/night hot... more

Stayed in a 1bd for 3 nights. The condo is very upscale and well stocked. Location can't be better for skiing and the kids loved the water park. The front desk was a was not to helpful, wouldn't allow a 1 hour late check out on a Monday. Wouldn't stay anywhere else in Kellogg though, its worth the extra money.... more

We love waterparks and someone in the area told us Silver Mountain recently opened one. We were surprised, but decided if the price was right to check it out. We were offered good rates considering the off season. Price was comparable to most indoor waterparks, but with a MUCH nicer room. (We stayed in the Mountain View Suite) The indoor... more

We wanted a place to stop on our way to Yellowstone from Seattle because we didn't need to be there until Monday so we booked two nights here so the kids could enjoy the new indoor waterpark. They were having an end of summer special and for the price of the room and it including the admission to the water... more

We were looking for somewhere to take the kids for a last fun thing to do before school started and this was the place we picked and are so happy we did. The room we stayed in was a mountain/gondola view room with a beautiful full kithchen, dining table that seats 6, master bedroom with fire place and claw foot... more

We had so much fun here. The new water park is great. When we booked we were just planning on a one night stop on our way home from YNP, a few months ago I called to add another night and was informed about the water park. We weren't to sure since our boy is only three, but he loved... more
