We stayed here for one night in May. It's located in the small town of Kellogg, which is an historic mining place, but seems to have seen better days. The big attractions at the Morning Star are the adjacent large indoor water park and Silver Mountain skiing, but it was a pretty nice place for us old folks also. The... More

My husband and I decided to stay at the Morning Star Lodge for a little staycation (only an hour from where we live). What a fun place. The room was so clean and had everything we needed. Bathroom was spotless, loved the tub (great for a relaxing soak after a long day). The kitchenette had dishes and utensils for 2... More

We brought 4 teenage boys with us on a quick overnight getaway and it was perfect! We had adjoining rooms, booked as a 2 bedroom, and although the furniture was in the way most if the time, it served our needs. The decor is really nice, but too big for the rooms. Be ready to walk a lot, as the... More

Very nice place to stay! I would stay here again. The water park is really nice for families. I would say that it is geared more towards younger children than teenagers, since there is only 3 adult water slides. The lazy river is wonderful. We found lots to do. The only bad experience we had there was at the water... More

We've been very privileged to stay in some very nice places. The Terranea Resort, The Ritz Carleton in Hawaii, The Omni in WA. DC. We were lucky enough last summer to stumble across this very cool place last summer during a very hot and long motorcycle ride (luckily the neighboring hotel never did answer their phones). So we decided to... More

My girlfriend and I stayed here for 2 nights over the summer and enjoyed it so much. We're 23 and really loved this place. We were in vacation around Spokane area for a wedding, but were unsure of what to do once it was over. So I took to my trusty iPhone and looked some things up, and was fortunate... More

We have skied Silver Mountain, and stayed at the resort for seven years. The drive is so easy; freeway from Seattle, Spokane and from Montana. And the skiing is awesome. At the top of the peak, you are at 6400 feet. Hopefully the lifts will be upgraded soon…they are in need of replacement; they can be slow. The gondola ride... More

This place is so close to home and well worth the trip!! The waterpark was excellent...floated around the river for hours...dodging waterfalls and watching the flow rider. Great place for family and friends

My husband I went to enjoy Our 17th anniversary. Hot tub under the stars. Gondola ride. Movie outside. S'mores. Water park. It was fun and relaxing! Our room was kind of small. But there were so many Other places to hang out and relax it was very nice.

We stayed here for our first anniversary. We had a really nice studio room that was very clean and had more than we expected in the room. However, we went to do the "Dinner on the Mountain" and paid $30 per person. Thought, that's alright because it includes the gondola ride. So we get to the top of the mountain... More
