My 13-year son and I took a 4-day trip into Yellowstone and Teton Park. It was intended to be a camping trip with the promise of one night at a motel. Like his mother, he likes amenities of a nice lodge when we travel. We chose the Angler’s Inn at Island Park, Idaho from reading the reviews, its spectacular location... More

We were trying to stay in West Yellowstone but all hotels were booked. We were able to get a room at this lodge and so glad we did! Right on the river, rooms are very nice and the employees are wonderful!

Preface this by saying I have spent well over 365 days in 5 star hotels. These reviews on trip advisor range from motel six guests to snobs who would complain about colors. I am a realist. Of all the hotels we stayed at, on our trip from california to montana, we like this one best. The view is truely unparalleled in... More

We were looking for accommodation on the southern rim of Yellowstone but as everywhere was booked we ended up on the western rim and found this hotel by chance. It is about 25 miles from the gate but in my opinion well worth the effort especially if you are a fisherman. The lodge is located right by the river on... More

Three of us were on a fishing trip on the Henry's Fork and spend two nights here. The rooms were very comfortable, as was the main lounge which had a much needed fireplace in the evening. The lodge is right on the Henry's Fork, so if you're so inclined you could put on your waders and walk out for a... More

We could not find a hotel to stay at in west Yellowstone. We were told of this place. It's beautiful, but make sure you request a room on the first floor since they have stairs only. The rooms were clean and quaint. We had a view of the snake river with a balcony. The balcony unfortunately is rotting in areas... More

My son and I rode our bikes across the US this spring. It took 72 days and we stayed in 71 hotels/motels/cabins and this was the most beautiful of them all. The lodge is right on the Snake River, the back door of our room opened on to a grassy lawn and only 100 ft from the Snake River, the... More

We stayed in their "cabin" for a number of nights. Their cabins ( we saw the inside of more than one) were unsafe for two reasons: 1) The cabins are along the highway. There is no guard rail along the highway to protect the rooms if a car or semi veers off the highway. If that were to happen, the... More

We recently spent three nights at the Henry's Fork cabin and were excited to stay given the location and great reviews. We did not eat at the restaurant. We have stayed many times at other cabins/condos around the US and Canada and given the price point of this cabin we were left wanting. Check in is at 3, though the... More

Angler's Lodge was a piece of paradise. The rooms were so clean and the decorations were as darling as could be. The staff and management were the best!! The restaurant and bar were outstanding. We had so much fun staying there and visiting the beautiful country and recreation that the area has has to offer! We will be back soon!
