Where do all these stars come from? The furnishing is old and ugly and there is this certain smell in there that makes you want to leave asap. Stayed at this hotel for 11 nights for business, with 3 work collegues. So, these are not just my opinions... PROS:Awesome location. We stayed here 6 nights, using it as a base for Grand Teton, Yellowstone, and Craters of the Moon. We booked two tower rooms, which are large, pie-shaped rooms with refrigerators, microwaves, coffemakers and balconies, some overlooking the Snake River and falls. The 'poolside' rooms in the older section were $10 cheaper than the 'tower' which was enough to get me to try the 'older' rooms derided by other reviewers. Mine wasn't that bad actually, room 269. It had updates to the bathroom and just a tinge of cigarette smoke in the "non-smoking" room. At $70, it was the right price for the room. It even had a fridge/freezer which was a nice surprise. I stayed here a week. Room was exceptionally large, shaped like a pie slice, in Tower section. (If you book a room whose number ends with -81 to -86 it will overlook the Falls; otherwise your view is a rather boring parking lot.) Balcony overlooked the falls, with mountains off in the distance; quite a nice view, though some may find the sound of the falls might interfere with sleep especially if balcony's sliding door... more

We requested a room with a view and got a room on the top floor with a view of the falls. Very nice room, bed was a little uncomfortable. Overall a nice stay. more
