The Hotel On The Falls has undoubtedly the best view of the falls but that is the best it has. It's dated. The sliding door to the deck overlooking the falls is very difficult to open or close. There was someone else's old food in the refrigerator. The closet door was also difficult to open and close. The TV is... More

I am originally from Idaho Falls, so I have seen the changes this hotel has gone through. I read the mixed reviews on here after I booked. I was hesitant to continue with the reservation, nevertheless, we decided to stay here anyway. I booked a kind size bed in the tower through Booking.com. when I arrived at the hotel, the... More

We have stayed at this hotel 4 times since 2012, most recently in July'14 and each time the condition and service had worsened. Arriving most recently, in 90+ degree weather, we found no air conditioning in the Lobby or the hallways. The room door was so difficult to open we had to physically ram into it to open. The closet... More

Dear 2012JKL ~ Thank you for your review! I am sorry that we did not meet your expectations. This is an Older property and it is getting more difficult to maintain. It is my hope that by end of this year, the much needed improvements will be well underway and ready to meet and even exceed everyone of your expectations!... More

My husband and I stayed two nights. The hotel is a little on the older side but we didn't have any issues. Room was spacious and clean. Hotel is within easy walking distance of food. If you need to do any type of basic shopping stores are very close by. Also there is walking path nearby. We stayed here and... More

We stayed in the tower, and the rooms were great. Spacious, comfortable beds, and APPEARED clean at first glance. (We later found beer bottle cap near our curtains, but again, in the grand scheme of things, no biggie.) The night we arrived, after a 12 hour drive, all my husband wanted was a cup of coffee. Upon opening our in room... More

My son and I arrived at 9:15 PM on Saturday night. He had reserved two rooms - only one was ready despite a check out time of noon - over 9 hours ago. The desk clerk said she would have a room in 20 mins. after housekeeping cleaned it. The men's room off the lobby was out of order when... More

Room was OK, clean enough and certainly large enough. The pool is freeeeeeeezing, so we won't be getting in this time! Breakfast... I guess, eating after having slept is breaking the fast, eh? People at desk are not very interested in being good hosts. The beds are lumpy and clean. Where are the "Do not disturb/Clean room" door tags???? Cleaning... More

Spending a couple of nights in this hotel was a delight. My room overlooked the falls, which were right across the street. It was so beautiful and relaxing. The area around the falls and the river is a great place to walk, talk to other travelers, and enjoy the beauty. The hotel is in a great location, close to most... More

The only reason I gave this two dots was that I saw the manager on my way out Monday morning and he seemed somewhat sympathetic. The room we had was dingy looking and needed more light. The worst thing was that it took more than 5 minutes with the water in both the bath tub and the sink running full... More

Dear historydave2001 ~ Thank you for taking the time to write a review for us! As we spoke about in the Lobby we are going to be having a lot of changes in the next year. It has been tough with an aging Hotel, but I see a very bright future. We are working on training our staff and I... More
