We were pleasantly surprised at the quality of the hotel. Very nice rooms, staff seemed nice to us. After seeing some the bad reviews we had concerns, but we were glad we booked. Will likely stay here again on our next business trip. Recommended. more

Very good basic hotel with an abundant breakfast. We had a beautiful large upper room overlooking the Snake River and Mormon temple. People were walking on the paths by the river both after dark and early in the morning. Seemed like a very nice town. The carpet in the room was worn and there are areas in need of updating... more

I had read some bad reviews about the Shilo and didn't know what to expect. However, upon arrival to our room we were pleasantly surprised. The common areas definitely need some maintenance work, but the rooms looked as though they had been recently updated. We had a room facing the river with a balcony which was very nice. more

Stumbled on this hotel returning from our winter in Arizona. Were carrying a lot of things that needed to be moved to the room so we were delighted to find a LARGE room with lots of space, which wasn't wasted. Storage, table, desk etc. all came in handy. Prompt maintenance service when we needed it. Internet connection very fast. Appreciated... more

Required the assistance of the front desk several times during the stay. Particularly impressed with Lisa Porter. She went out of her way to assist in a friendly, efficient way. Hotel is nice. Showing its age a bit. The service brings me back. more

The front desk staff was very very rude... I was on the 4th floor and that floor was under renovations at the time. The free breakfast was terrible and my water was not even refilled. the pool area did not have any towels and the hot tub was not hot at all. This place is over priced and over rated.... more

The staff was unhelpful and rude! The restaraunt in the hotel has horrible room service and serves raw sausage for breakfast and they are slow. We called a couple of days before to see if we could make sure our 4 rooms were close together and they were unhelpful and rude over the phone. When arriving, we arrived at 3:30... more

Great riverview room. Very large. Microwave, fridge. Room service was a nice bonus after a long day of driving. Full breakfast buffet. Hotel is showing age a little around the edges but overall the rooms are very nice. There's also a lounge for a toddy before dinner. Friendly, accomodating staff. more

The Shilo Inn is a good option for those travelling to /from Yellostone. It is close to I 15 and about three hours away from the great national park. Rooms are large and come with a full kitchen. Breakfast was OK (for an American hotel breakfast with lots of sugar and fat...). Ordered a salad from room service, it came... more

This is in an excellent location on the river, with grass covered in wandering ducks, all there to take a dump, so do not walk on the grass. The staff were just filling in their day. The big breakfast has minimal choices if you choose to eat healthy. The building is probably 30 years past its hey day, with minimum... more
