Villa Laguna is a wonderful hotel, situated in a perfect location. It is a great retreat after spending time in Venice, which is hot and absolutely packed with tourists! The proximity of the hotel to the vaporetto stop and the main street and beach, were ideal, as everything was within walking distance (max. 10 mins to beach with an 84... More

The hotel villa Laguna is a beautiful villa hotel overlooking the main canal into Venice. Our room, which was very elegantly furnished, had views across the lagoon to St Marks square. The restaurant on the terrace served beautifully prepared food, and the staff were very attentive and friendly. By being in the lido rather than in Venice, which was only... More

This hotel has a very nice terrace looking out over the Venetian bay. The terrace is clean and comfortable, the ideal place to chill out with a beer or cocktail...but.....the service is crap. The waitresses who served us had a huge attitude problem, spending most of their time scowling, and rarely smiling. They radiated a kind of vicarious hauteur, as... More

The visit to this restaurant was made upon recommendation from a restaurant critic. Located next to the Venetian Lagoon on the Lido, your view is west towards the Grande Canal and St Marks Sq. Our table was located next to the water and the sunset was spectacular. Large crowds gathered on the waterfront to capture the scene, whilst diners at... More

Perfect to enjoy a calm charming hotel right next to the Lido water bus stop. Not noisy at all. A bit time consuming to pop over to Venice for dinner and not a great choice of restaurants on the Lido. However if you are looking to experience the non-touristy side of Venice this is perfect.

I and my wife had stayed at two rooms with garden for three days. Generally the room and restarurant were nostalgic. The view from the garden was excellent. We could see St.Macrco on the opositebank shore. Please try the grilled fish. We were really satisfied with the taste and quality of fish. That was very delicious.

Stayed at this hotel for two nights. The hotel is located on the Lido, away from the crowds of Venice. The hotel is quite old but retains a lot of its original charms. Although a little dated the rooms were large and clean. The hotel has a lovely restaurant with a large outdoor area with great views of Venice. Would... More

Having read numerous good reviews, the Villa Laguna did not disappoint. We wanted to visit Venice but not stay in the busy tourist areas so we choose to stay on the Lido, a 10 minute vaporetto ride from St Mark's Square. We arrived from Treviso airport by ATVO coach into the bus station - Piazza Le Roma and bought a... More
