Just returned from a 3 night stay and decided to treat ourselves to a junior suite with sea views. The view was amazing, we could see over the roof tops to Venice and it was spectacular both morning and evening. However, the decor was very dated (not in a Classic Venetian way) shower leaked (a lot) every time we used... More

Based on our room, not sure how this hotel is four stars. I am wondering if we got lower level/standard room since we are part of a tour. If you are part of a tour and like having a nice bathroom and slightly bigger room I would check if I could upgrade.

Stayed here will on tour in 2012. Hotel location is great for travelling around the region . Hotel facilities were nice and pleasant enough. Walking distance to town was great after long day travelling to walk around. Easy access to Venice city by boat ferry which was great. Recommend staying here while in Venice .

Just returned from a three night trip staying in this hotel. We booked the day before and were given a room in the front of the hotel in the middle on second floor, very happy. It was called a deluxe room which I believe is a standard room compared to the other posh suites available. The room had two large... More

My family of four (two young children) stayed in this hotel for one night. We had previously spent two weeks in Tuscany, and wanted to see Venice before heading home. We parked our car at Piazzale Roma in Venice around lunchtime, then took the vaporetto to the Lido as directed by the hotel confirmation email. It was perfect. The vaporettos... More

Stayed for 5 nights in July. Charming eccentric hotel. Staff really helpful and very varied excellent breakfast. Spotlessly clean and rooms small but adequate. Stayed as a family with 2 teenage boys. Safe and central for them. Close to the beach and the water bus stops. Great place to return to after the bustling of Venice . The spa was... More

I loved this hotel! It has lots of charm and character like an old eccentric, fancy dressed lady! Location is absolutely perfect, on the main track half way between vaporetto stop from Venice and the Lido beach. There is a supermarket almost across the street where you can purchase food, wine and other necessities. We bought beautiful prosciutto, Italian cheese... More

Its a misfortune that so many conferences happen on Lido. I hate the masses of tourists as much as the next person, but I like the Lido even less than findng my way to quieter parts of Venice. It simply doesn't have the feel of the past in the same way - and its as if you are at a beach... More

The hotel was excellent and the staff could not be more obliging, they really put themselves out and made our stay more pleasurable. The hotel has an air of old world charm. The outside of the hotel is unique in as much it at seems to have a tile exterior which is amazing, any photographs don't do it justice. What... More

We stayed here as part of out tour of Italy. It was a quaint place , and had a reasonable breakfast. Our room was very small and quite poky. Clean and tidy but the bed was very hard! Close to the water transfer to Venice and small supermarket just a short walk down the road
