The vaporetto stops outside and there are public buses going somewhere. Not much else to recommend, food choices were limited. The cafes were right on the street outside the hotel as was shopping. My room at the end of the hall was dark, shutters were always closed by housekeeping. I opened them and faced the back of church next door.... More

This was probably our 14th time to this hotel. We return every year and it has never failed to live up to expectations, The staff are always very helpful and pleasant and the location is ideal for both visiting Venice and going to the beach. It is nice to return to Lido after a busy day going round Venice. It... More

This hotel is in a great location for the vaporetto, Lido buses, airport transfer boat and ferry stops and only a short walk from the public beach area. The hotel does not offer food apart from breakfast but there are many eating places close by, varying from snack bars to full restaurants, including some that offer a free Wi-Fi connection... More

We stayed here on spec for 2 days before taking a cruise ship from Venice. At the time of booking I had no idea about travelling around Venice or distances to the major attractions, the airport, the Maritima etc. So it was wonderful to see my gamble pay off. This hotel is very close to the allilaguna and actv services... More

We found this hotel to be very well located and a better option than staying in Venice itself. Almost all Vaporetto (waterbus) routes start/end at the Lido so it's very easy to travel between the Lido and Venice itself. As the hotel is across the road from the bus stop this also makes it VERY quick and easy to get... More

We stayed here only one night before moving on to a eurocamp site. I chose this hotel for its proximity to the water bus stop. We were arriving late at night with two small children and we also wanted to do Venice the following day. We were given a fab room with large double bed and two singles, all made... More

I am sure Riviera hotel is the best choice in Venice. This is my second visit to this hotel and I like everything : the room was big and very clean with terrace overlooking the square, church and lagoon. The breakfast was great - even pineapples, melon and other fruit...The staff - very helpful, polite and friendly, all my requests were fulfilled... We stayed at this hotel from 1st - 3rd July. Lovely hotel with traditional charm and smiling staff. On the way to the airport we realised we had left our SD card with all of our holiday photos on in the safe and called the hotel immediately. They retrieved it from the safe whilst we were on the line and... More

I traveled here with my sister and we really enjoyed this hotel. Our room was tiny but quaint. The bathroom was also tiny. There were shutters in the room that opened out to the street and had a view of Venice across the way. We were able to let fresh air into our room. We discovered a couple of terraces... More
