We stayed a couple of nights at the Wood River Inn to ski at Sun Valley in February and were in one of their large kitchen suites, which was very clean, comfortable and well-equipped. The beds were new and comfortable and the double-sinked bathroom very spacious. The staff were patient, friendly and helpful and -- a really nice touch --... More

The Wood River Inn is a very nice place to stay when visiting the Sun Valley area. Their prices are reasonable. Their rooms are clean. Their family suites - where we stayed - are roomy and offer just about anything you'd need to do all your own cooking, if you so desire. However their breakfast offerings include just about everything... More

We spent a few days for the "Trailing of the Sheep" festival at the Wood River Inn. The room was spacious, clean, and we enjoyed the fireplace too. Location was excellent - on HW 75 with easy access (and a back way out to make it easy to get around at heavy-traffic times). Useful discounts to good food withing walking... More

Our two night stay at the Wood River Inn was very nice. First we were upgraded to a suite on the back of the inn where it was quiet. The two room suite had plenty of room for the two of us. It has a somewhat odd layout with the sink in the bed room & the shower/toilet in a... More

This is a budget property, evident from the condition of the interior and the rooms. It has an attractive exterior appearance. In our room there was (still!) an older non-HD TV set. The bed was comfortable, and the wifi was free. The breakfast in the morning was very basic, but again free. I would recommend this property only if you... More

We really enjoyed staying at the Wood River Inn. We had a very comfortable room that looked out onto the scenic nearby mountains. The Inn was very clean and tidy ... our room and the common rooms. Our bed was extremely comfortable and the linens first class. The breakfast buffet had lots of choices for everyone and was a good... More

Tried to call to get pricing and information to book rooms, bring a cheer team from Nampa to Wood River for a football game. Manager or owner, was extremely rude. I understand there are fire codes and maximum capacity of rooms. When I explained I have 2 coaches and 10 little girls age 8-10, trying to figure out lodging, I... More

Very sorry about the frig. - housekeeping does make sure all things are working daily, did you ask them not to plug it back in or mention it to the front desk? We would have gladly replaced the frig or left it unplugged at your request. Can you tell me what room it was so we can address the problem?... More
