Thanks Martine and Francois for (this time) an extended stay. The food was again excellent and the hospitality was, as usual, up to standard. One of the good things about staying here is that they are willing to try and meet any needs one may have. We'll be back!

We chose to stay here as a convenient stop off to Paris from Calais. Our room was large and the bathroom enormous. Everything was spotlessly clean. We ate dinner with Martine and her husband which was excellent value, very tasty and accompanied by generous servings of wine. Our car was full of valuables, so it was good to be able... More

Martine and Francois really are genuine people. The food was superb and their company was even better. When we went (for the third time) Martine was ill but still produced the goods, with a little help from Francois! On our next trip we would literally go out of our way to stay with them (also to enjoy their company). Doug... More

Stayed recently with Martine for one night on way to Euro Disney. I knew this was my last chance for a decent meal, but did not expect such a delight. Food, wine and company were all wonderful while the rooms were quiet and clean, all in a setting of a turn of the century French town house. I really recommend... More

We stopped here over night on the way to Disneyland Paris. There were two families in our group including two 4 year old girls who shared a twin room, great family accommodation and very comfortable. Our host Martine was fantastic and she prepared a lovely meal including an incredible local cheese board and 'cherry crumble' using cherries from the garden!... More

We stopped here overnight on our way back to the UK. We had a double room on the first floor (Dahlia), nicely decorated, very comfortable bed (1.6 metres which was great as we are both quite tall) and a lovely en suite - all immaculately clean. We also ate with Martine and Francois, who were charming hosts. A bonus for... More

A couple of hours from Calais Eurotunnel terminal, we stopped here on our way south. We had the family suite at the top of the house which was great for us with two teens. Martine and Francois were excellent hosts. If you can, do have supper with them - wonderful home grown produce from the garden and interesting conversation. Their... More

Just returned from a holiday in France and stayed here on our way through and back. Martine and Francois are the most wonderful hosts and provided us with the best food we ate during our entire stay, and the most enjoyable company. The rooms were comfortable and clean for us and our three children. We spent our evenings eating, drinking... More

We have just returned from our 3 week France adventure, and our last night with Martine and Francois was one of the best memories I will cherish. Their home is lovely and our room, Dahlia, was so bright and cheery and a good size for European rooms! We LOVED listening to Francois play the piano. He is a wonderful concert... More
