Stayed here for one night during a car tour. Bedroom itself was newly decorated, and spacious. A little disappointed that the shower cubicle needed regrouting/cleaning as it was quite mouldy/dirty but that just seemed an age thing. Breakfast was freshly cooked and very enjoyable and really set us up for the day. Lovely view across the loch.

This is a great spot to stop and enjoy an evening (or when you have done it once), you will come back again, as our family has done for the last three years. Family friendly and as the other reviews show the owner and his wife are so welcoming and easy going that you feel really part of the family.... More

After many visits at different times of the year(check opening times) I have always been given a very warm welcome from the owners, who are always prepared to spend time and a convivial chat. Food is great quality pub food,in a very well kept, cared for and clean environment. Also a beautiful area with wonderful views,a million miles away from the everyday... More

Spotlessly clean. Food was lovely, evening meals and breakfast. Great value. Service in this family run could not be criticised. Charming. Lovely setting. Forget about internet and mobile phones and concentrate on the spectacular scenery. Thouroughly enjoyed this stay.

Very engaging owners and staff made us feel most welcome. Excellent food, and had a few sherbert shandies in the evening in the bar. We were touring on our motorbikes and look forward to going back to the area and happily stay here again.

We really enjoyed our stay, the hotel is nothing fancy but very clean and has everything you need and the food was very good and very reasonably priced. I would stay again. The owners are very friendly and made us feel welcome.

The best thing about this hotel is how nice the owners are. The food is also homely and scrumptious, very generous portions. Really enjoyed ourselves here after a long day of tough cycling, fabulous location, would definitely stay again.

We were in room 5 which was very spacious and comfortable. We were told there was no mobile phone reception but we got an O2 signal in the room. The drive to Drumbeg was stunning along a narrow windy lane through the hills with breathtaking new views at every turn. We were made very welcome at the hotel and the... More

Initial impressions are that the Hotel is a wee bit tired although put into context and once you spend a few hours in this remote part of the world you warm to its basic charm. Dawn and Robin are lovely hardworking people who make you feel nicely welcome as do the locals who happily treat you to a wee dram... More

Dawn and Robin made us feel welcome and we took room 6 which is a bit small but perfectly clean and cosy - all good. Evening food and breakfast is all well beyond expectations and good value for money, and the tiny bar is a gem, with locals and tourists alike mixing and laughing together with the congenial hosts.
