We waited 45 minutes to check in because only one person at counter, got our room then 10 minutes later a couple comes walking in our room they had given them the same room, back downstairs because ours keys didnt work, we asked for another room because we noticed when we shut the door you could see straight thru the... When you pay around $70 per night, you can expect things not to be perfect. However I found the room to be big, sheets clean, & bathroom fine. Sure the carpets need to be changed, but at least in my room they didn't smell - the halls are worse. My room was buy the entrance door on the main floor... More

Check in was ok & the staff were nice. Hallways were a little dark & dingy. Room was large and bed was ok.Breakfast was not worth going to. I went to a McDonalds for an egg McMuffin & coffee. Price was decent and overall quality was average. Stayed at nicer places in this price range.

Arrived to a nice building and beautiful lobby but it went downhill from there. Hall carpets were so rippled you tripped on the bumps (many of them...from one end of hall to the other). Old TV, old carpet, toilet had mould mark at water line in bowl that remained for 3 nights, the sheets were not fitted so you found... More

Gross, outdated and dirty. This sums it up. The 1980's are over, please update the rugs, bedding, furniture....make that the entire place. The bathroom has mold in all corners and on the shower tile, and the shower faucet was very gross. The hallways are very dark and not welcoming at all. The "breakfast" was horrible. I don't expect much from... More

I booked this hotel using a site where you only see the price and ended up with this hotel. I'll start at check in. We arrived at 3:50 with check in at 4 PM after driving all day. Our room wasn't ready until 4:30. There was only one person to check people in so it was painfully slow, but he... More

A bit of a wait time a check in but once we were greeted, the young man working the front was apologetic and very friendly. The room and hotel are obviously dated and could use some upgrades but we found our 4 night stay to be very comfortable. Upon inspection, our room was clean and spacious. Beds were very comfortable!... More

We stayed 2 nights in 2 rooms. The first night our room was great. Modern interior and plenty of room. Exactly what we were looking for. However, the hallway leading to our room was horrible! My children tripped over the buckled, old, nasty carpet on 2 different occasions. Other than some rug burns they were luckily ok. The second night... More

We had business in Coeur D'alene we usually stay along the lake. The usual hotel was booked and we chose the Shilo Inn based on prior experiences. The Hotel is located along the 90 across the street from Lowes. It has plenty of parking with lots that surround the complex. When we checked in we were met by a real... More

Stayed here on our way up to Canada to go backpacking. Made our decision based primarily on price, ratings on booking.com, and proximity to Hwy 95. Our room had 2 queen beds and was plenty big. In the end, we didn't need much more. The room was generally clean but it was obvious it hadn't really been cleaned for a... More
