We found the Flamingo the first trip because a family from Virginia was the first review when we clicked on Trip Advisor. The Flamingo is quirky and delightful in the different themes of the rooms. We have stayed in the English garden and the Irish one. Both visits were a welcome rest after a long drive. The motel is located on... More

Lovely place to stay. Cute rooms, convenient location and very clean. Stayed with extended family, three rooms, one with kitchenette which was very well appointed. Each themed room is nice. I want to come back in the summer to enjoy the lake.

Stayed for three days when I planned for only one. A worderful place to stay - beats all the hotels in the area - and the owners/managers are more likend to people who operate a five-star B&B. Going to grandmothers house couldn't be more comfortable. Each room has its own personality. Location is perfect for strolling down Couer d'Alene's downtown... More

My husband and I stayed here for our anniversary. The owners are awesome, and very helpful with things to do and places to eat. Our room was nice and clean and very quiet. We will definitely come back.

We stayed twice in this well appointed motel. The beds were comfortable, fittings good quality and the staff very helpful. We chose the fishing themed room. We especially liked the recliner chairs and good lighting for reading.

The rooms are individually decorated, comfortable and well appointed, with coffee makers, a small frig, and plenty of toiletries. The hosts are warm and friendly, and accommodated my every need. They provide a lending library, small CD collection, microwave, ice, and extra tea and coffee. The location is an easy walking distance to restaurants and shopping. I would definitely stay... More

We've stayed here several times and always been happy. It's just a couple of blocks to all the shops and restaurants, the owners are helpful with their recommendations, and the room is always clean. Bonus: they have the last working beds with magic fingers in motels!

When we pulled up I was weary. Just because it was small looking from the outside. I looked closer though while my husband got our keys and realized the upkeep of the outside of the building was pristine and colorful. The rooms we stayed in were decorated beautifully and thoughtfully. Each room had it's own theme and personal touches. Most... More

This is a lovely little place near downtown. The owners are great attentive people and the room are all decorated in themes. Very clean. I don't think you can go wrong here as long as your up for an old school motel.
