We stayed for 3 nights in the Gone Fishing room and really enjoyed our stay. It is really clean and roomy with 2 big easy chairs that we enjoyed relaxing I with with amazing huckleberry milkshakes from Zips across the street. It is an easy walk from here to restaurants and the new city park and beautiful Tubbs Hill. Great... More

This is a great little motel that is a throwback to the 50's but very clean and charming. The owners take great pride in what they have. We stayed there with 4 other couples on a motorcycle tour. Great location and walking distance to most everything. You won't be disappointed!

We stumbled across this motel in the heart of Coeur D'Alene "old town" area. It was our first time in Coeur D'Alene and we did not make reservations anywhere. Thankfully they had a room available as we were tired and rooms were scarce. We were skeptical because of the "motel" distinction but the owner gave us a key and said... More

As other reviewers have said, the photos don't do the Flamingo justice. The rooms are very nice, very comfortable and the bathroom in the Victorian is the classiest I've ever seen in a hotel (let alone a motel!). I was very pleasantly surprised when I opened the door to our suite. More importantly, though, is the location. The Flamingo is... More

We stayed in the Tuscany room! First of all, they have to much STUFF hanging on the walls, very dusty, which makes me think how the rest of the room has been cleaned! Our room smelled like urine, possibly from an animal, I said something to the owner and he said it was the air conditioner that smelled, it was... More

Of course we are sorry for your experience. However, all rooms anywhere, your own home or any motel or office, will have a “musty” (not dusty) odor when the A/C unit is turned off particularly if it has been utilized for days in 97-100 degree heat, humidity and rainy, windy weather such as what we have been experiencing. Thank goodness... More

We just stayed at the Flamingo Motel for the second time, on our way from Seattle to Glacier National Park (the first time, we were on our way to Yellowstone). It is clean and quiet. The owners are very accommodating if you are coming in late or forget to leave your key behind when you leave the next morning (yeah,... More

Loved this place!! We decided to stay here based on reviews & were extremely lucky because we didn't have a reservation, but just pulled in & they had had a cancellation that day. We ended up in the two room suite, which is a bit pricier than the other rooms, but the privacy was great as I'm a night owl... More

What do you measure a place like this against? More like three if you compare to a resort or hotel. But I'm looking at its category. Quite refreshingly better than their pictures. Couple owners from California who have taken this little spot and really classed it up. It is very simple and for the person who wants to venture out... More

The nicest people run this motel. Each room has a theme to it. Ours was the Golfer's room which was very nice. My husband had never experienced the magic fingers machine which was attached to the bed so he put a quarter in and it did it's magic. Relaxed us after a long hot ride on our motorcycle trip. After... More

We stayed for just one night and loved it. The location could not be beat, within walking distance of everything you would want to see downtown and yet nice and quiet. We stayed in the "Beach Room" and it was really cute. We had a very comfortable king size bed, a little seating area, a fridge, and everything was spotless.... More
