We had a great experience at this B&B. Nancy tries very hard to make everyone feel at home in her beautiful old house. The inn is close to the Main Street and the lakefront. Loved the cat Charley, huge personality, but no issues of cat dander if you have allergies. The breakfast was wonderful, plenty to eat and great coffee. Wine... More

In July we had a delightful two night stay at the McFarland Inn. This bed and breakfast is beautifully decorated with period furniture and also has modern amenities. Nancy is a perfect hostess who is very knowledgeable with great restaurant recommendations and things to do in Coeur d'Alene. Her breakfasts were delicious and some of the best that we've had in... We spent three nights at the McFarland Inn this month. It is a lovely facility on a quiet residential street and walking distance to all of Coeur d'Alene's attractions. The owner, Nancy is obviously a perfectionist and the Inn and its sleeping rooms are very tastefully decorated and neat as a pin. She is also a gourmet cook and the... More

As my grandchildren would say "OMG". I have stayed at B & B's all over Europe and the U.S. and I would rate Nancy's Inn as high as any place I've stayed. The furnishing, décor, ambience were all beyond first rate. The food was wonderful and plenty of it (try the Lemon Ricotta Pancakes). Nancy is a perfect host, knowledgeable... More

Best night's sleep of our entire trip! Clean & welcoming accommodation, comfortable beds, beautifully decorated and delicious meals! Nancy is a jewel! You can walk anywhere in town from here and you can borrow one of her bikes and ride the beautiful Centennial Trail along the lake. Nancy also provided excellent dining recommendations. DON'T MISS THIS ONE!

We stayed here for three nights in June and just loved it! This is a beautiful heritage home that has all the modern conveniences and tasteful decor. The bed was very comfortable and each room well appointed. The breakfasts were excellent especially loved the lemon ricotta pancakes! The best part was Happy Hour when our hostess laid out a careful... More

Thank you, Nancy, for so graciously hosting us at your charming home. The amenities were superlative (uber comfy bed, delectable breakfasts, copious amounts of snacks, peaceful patios & garden, stacks of info on local attractions) combined with your genuine care for our enjoyment - and your own obvious enjoyment of caring for others - and exquisite attention to detail made... The room was beautiful and comfortable. The rest of the place was fantastic. Nancy was the perfect balance of professional and accommodating, and I felt at home anywhere in the inn. We took a bike ride on the Centennial Trail along the lake and had dinner at the place Nancy recommended, which was very good. We ended up taking advantage... More

Our room was beautiful, comfortable and provided everything anyone could want. We enjoyed visiting with Nancy who was very helpful about local information. Nancy has provided two very nice lounges with both a fridge and microwave available for guests as well as containers of goodies scattered throughout the house. We were just passing through and had only one night in... More

This was our second visit to McFarland Bed and Breakfast. The Inn is, of course, beautiful and tastefully decorated. We stayed in the same room as the first time. It is very comfortable and cozy with a king bed and a spacious bathroom. We like that the Inn is within walking distance of shops and restaurants. Nancy, the owner is... More
