I had the opportunity to stay at the Ashley Inn this month. My wife and I flew in on our way to Jackson. We were only looking for a place to crash on our journey, but we were pleasantly surprised when we arrived! They had Milk and Cookies almost ready for us to taste and were able to get us... More

Located in a beautiful setting the outside looks royal. The inside is decorated like a doll house with knock knacks, old restored furniture etc. the foyer looks like it's out of Gone With the Wind it's beautiful. Staff is very friendly and there are homemade cookies and milk every night at 8. The rooms are spacious, the bathroom large with... More

Interesting point: Ashley's dear mother loved "Gone wtih the Wind" and that's where his name comes from. But, I told her that although he was a kind husband, he is also a little more like Rhett Butler, because it took real guts to build the Ashley Inn, in the middle of the Idaho Mountains. It was all our family and... More

Spent one night of a 2 week road trip at this charming country inn. Dated country decor but quiet, clean and comfy. Had a king room with fireplace (didn't need it in July though). Good variety of hot breakfast items included. But for us it was all, about the friendly staff who went out of their way to help us... More

we were greeted at the checkin with an upgrade to our room. It was our anniversary and it was very much appreciated. The hotel is like a Victorian Inn. Except that the rooms are beautiful and large. The beds are very comfortable the staff is delightful. Breakfast is great. I think every room has a garden tub but we had... More

This Victorian Inn looks massive in this tiny prospering town. We were so happy to have found it on Trip Advisor before we got here, as it's on the far end of town. From special parking under the portico for motorcycles, to tea and coffee (in traditional Victorian cups) all day long, all is done to make you comfortable. Our... More

We found ourselves in Long Valley, Idaho needing a room at the last minute. Long Valley is an outdoor enthusiasts paradise with fishing, hiking, water sports, and river running available. I yelped hotels in the area and called the Ashley. We were fortunate to have Kim help us. She was fabulous, friendly and totally helpful. When we checked in the... More

Thank you for loving our two Kims. Although having a name of "Kim" not a requirement to work at the Ashley Inn, it sure doesn't hurt. We are glad you found us through Yelp. More

35+ members gathered for three days at the Ashley Inn. Rooms are great and service is excellent. Kim, Kim, and Alisha were especially helpful with wonderful evening cookies (do not miss the chocolate chip/coconut/macadamias!!), yummy breakfast, and a catered family dinner on Saturday night set up with table clothes, goblets, etc. to make the event fancy. The Ashley Inn also... More

Nice hotel decorated in period decor. Our only problem was that the air conditioning in our room quit working on our second night. It was over 100 degrees outside and miserable in our room. The staff was told and said that they would get the repair guy on it.

What a beautiful location to spend our 50th wedding anniversary. The staff worked with our sons to surprise us by upgrading our room and added special touches such as wine, chocolates and stuffed animal. It was a memorable place to stay. Thank you.

For a quick retreat from the City you can't do better than this small town but large on elegance Inn. My husband and I planned to go to the local hot springs for a soak before checking in but because the day was so overcast and threatening we chose instead to check in and use the hot tub in the...
