This place had a rustic charm that really sent a thrill through us. All of Bonner's Ferry was a charming, small town, and the Log Inn is no exception. Our bed was big and sturdy and our room was quaint, simple, and charming with handmade, local decorations. Hollie was especially excited about the wood carving, I had to convince her... More

We were traveling from north Montana to Vancouver BC late at night and realized we were too tired to continue. We have had very poor success with locally owned small motels so we were very pleasantly surprised to come across this log cabin style motel with comfortable beds, quaint atmosphere and friendly staff and owners. The homemade lemon poppyseed cake... More

The price was reasonable, the bed was comfortable, and the place had charm. While it's a little outside of downtown Bonners Ferry, you'll be traveling by car, and it's a short drive. The continental breakfast was what you'd expect; nothing fancy, but they had coffee and specialty bread. My one minor gripe is that in two of three interactions with... More

We pulled into Bonners Ferry Idaho after a long road trip from Waterton Lakes Park in Alberta. Found out about Bonners Ferry Log Inn from a flyer in town. We got the last room, which was a king size bed in a huge room. Very comfortable. Very well decorated. And it was only $85 a night. Friendly people running the... More

We remembered the Log Inn from a stop 10 years ago when we had last come through this way. It is attractive, comfortable, & we welcome the drive up to the door parking that is so handy for this kind of one night stay. While I do like to have a coffee pot in the room, the walk down to... More

Upon check-in I noticed the owner hand writing my name and charge card and number into his binder, after he ran through my card and I was paid up for the night. I was very bothered by this, as I could see he has done this with every customer. He said he does this so that if there are damages... More

The Log Inn is a cute, cozy, and comfortable place to stay. The owners are very friendly and gave us some great information about the area. The room was spacious and very clean! They have a nice gift shop in the lobby and for breakfast offer delicious poppy seed bread, OJ and coffee. If we are in the area again... More

My husband and I stayed here on our way to Canada and on our way back. We were both very happy with the room. Nice amount of space to hang clothes, 2 luggage racks, nice size bathroom cabinet, comfortable bed, clean, friendly front desk, beautiful flowers outside your door, parking right next to our room, nice shower and we slept... This inn is an exceptionally nice place to stay. The rooms are clean and beautifully decorated in a rustic style. This is the second time I've stayed here, and I wouldn't hesitate to stay there again. It was a very enjoyable experience. The landscaping is lovely, and the gift shop attached offers some unique items in a charming decor. Those... More

The owner added great value with dinner recommendation to Papa Byrd Bistro and stops at the Mennonite bakery and Kootenai Falls park. Room was very clean and had hand made furniture. Outside each room was a small table and huge baskets of petinias.
