Spent the weekend here after booking the location on line. The first night we had next door neighbors that were talking in normal conversational tones and we could hear them through the "thin" walls. Fortunately, they quit early enough we could get some sleep. The next night they were either gone or not talkative. We booked a room about two... More

This hotel is a good value, but dated and not particularly comfortable. It is equipped with old in-wall air conditioning units. These units are noisy and capable of waking the dead. If you are looking for an undisturbed night's sleep, this is likely not a good choice. On the upside, the hotel backs up to the Snake River and the... More

Our first trip to Boise. Chose this hotel based on location. Hotel was very outdated but okay for one night. Would recommend a renovation because it was nice to be so close to the river. Had a great walk in the morning. Bed wasn't bad and room was pretty quiet. They offered free WiFi but we had trouble because of... More

On a return trip to visit my daughter and first grandbaby we stayed at the Shilo Riverside. Since moving out of state almost 20 years ago I have always stayed at the same hotel. There has always been such peace and serenity staying on the river and the hospitality always exceeds expectations. Specifically on this visit the complimentary breakfast provided... More

When I first walked into this establishment I was shocked by the personal warm greeting that the two young ladies gave me. Checking in was pleasant and the employees listened to my every request and found me the PERFECT room. Loved the service. Its service like this that drives America. Personal thank you for your perfect touch in an imperfect... More

I recently booked the Shilo Inn Boise Riverside after researching many other hotels. I chose it because of the location and other reviews. Though the staff was super friendly and helpful, but the facility was old, old, old. It was something out of the 1970's from the wood paneling in the lobby to the cinder block walls to the gross... Good for the price. Rooms are spacious and clean. The decor is not new but everything worked and beds where comfortable. The pool is indoor but have a good size. The spa is really nice and hot and there is even a sauna to use. Breakfast was not too inviting so we skipped that and went to goldies downtown which... More

This hotel is also a convention center and it took us a while to figure out our area of entry and parking. The walk to the restaurant for breakfast was a long walk down various hallways and through the convention area. Having said that, the room was clean, the grounds are beautiful, and we had a good sleep. The breakfast... More

The room was very clean and even had a balcony. The hotel is easily accessible from the freeway, although it is a bit of a walk to the city centre. The staff are helpful and friendly and helped to make our short stay very enjoyable. The breakfast is quite basic but it was perfectly tasty and considering the price of... More

This hotel has a wonderful location and fantastic customer service. Front desk staff Alishia was super helpful to us---we were traveling with our one year old baby and she really went out of her way to make our stay easier. The breakfast room staff was really nice too (I didn't catch anyone's name there). It was really affordable too.
