For the last couple of years I have attended a conference at this hotel. Both last year and this year the rooms were very comfortable, clean and well maintained. Unfortunately, the restaurant has been somewhat less than steller. Each morning the breakfast food runs out almost immediately due to poor planning by the kitchen staff. A small amount of food,... Superb staff! Friendly, helpful and met every need. Clean and very comfortable rooms with all the amenities. Food was good, well presented and in good quantities. A great place to stay a night or a while, and an excellent place to hold an event. So accommodating and comfortable you won't want to leave. A great value for the price!

Stayed at this hotel last night in a really nice dog friendly room. The room was clean and the amenities were quite nice. The best part though, is that I left my diamond earrings in the room as well as a sapphire ring that is one of a kind. I called the front desk and they not only located my... More

Be en staying here for over 20 years for business. Not sure why I come back maybe the familiarity as the past year or so as the Food has been below average at best. I like Room Service as I can get settled and do work without going out. I ordered room service and the Bar Tender who answered said... More

The Boise Red Lion Downtowner is centrally located, clean, comfortable, and, in our experience, the service is usually excellent. We stay at the Boise Red Lion Downtowner fairly frequently because we travel with our dogs, the hotel is dog-friendly, and, as Red Lion R&R Club Gold members, the pet fee is waived. Much better experience here than at their sister... More

The hotel offers a shuttle to pick you up from the airport and will drive you around downtown. The staff were all very friendly and nice. Comfortable beds. Plus the parking is free is you happen to drive. I attended a small conference there which worked out great.

My husband and in-laws stayed at the Red Lion. It was a wonderful trip, combination of business and vacation. The Red Lion was perfect, close to downtown restaurants and shops. Free parking. The rooms were clean and the staff was very accomodating. Sara at front des was helpful and always greeted you with a smile. The manager, Ken Kester checked... More

This was my first visit to Boise and Idaho. Everyone was very friendly at the hotel. The mattress was excellent and the pillows nice and fluffy. The bed felt like home. I had a corner room and it was very quiet. I didn't hear any doors slamming that was good because I'm a light sleeper. I was impressed since the... More

First time in Boise to see old friends. The Red Lion had good service. The front desk staff was attentive and helpful. The mattress was superb (a big thing to me). We originally were offered a "quiet" room. A rowdy, but fun, group moved in next door for Saturday night. We were moved to a new room. They were very... More

I had been assigned to work away from home and my experience here has been exceptional! Firstly I was greeted warmly by the front desk receptionist who after inquiring the length of my stay gave me a corner room with a great view and a balcony! It was bright and I opened the curtains every morning to let the sunshine... More
