Nice facility, air conditioning controlled on the wall, worked well. Nice outdoor pool, indoor hot tub. Decent breakfast, including premade omelete-things, and a pancake rolling machine. Serviced its purpose well, and restaurants are nearby.

Holiday Inns are known for being slummy and gross. The only reason why I stayed here is because me and my boyfriends car broke down in the middle of Boise with no where to go. When we stayed here, the customer service was very nice to us, and gave us absolute top hospitality. I don't think I could ask for... More

It was a terrific location with great restaurants around. It is in a good location to join the greenbelt. The pool was lovely and private. The hotel was very well taken care of and very clean. The staff was helpful. The breakfast was a bit greasy and there was not a lot of variety or fresh items. Regarding Value, we... More

The fully renovated hotel offers very comfortable modern rooms, many with nice views of the foothills through large windows (corner rooms on the top two floors are particularly good). I enjoyed the hint of 70s chic in the very up-to-date decor (a brown and turquoise color scheme). Triple-sheeted beds and a choice of soft or firm pillows add to the... More

There is really nothing to complain about regarding this hotel, other than the name -- as others have said, it's not downtown. But the location is good -- there are a few good restaurants (including Red Robin) a very short walk away (basically across the parking lot), and to reach the Greenbelt, you simply cross the road and you are... The Holiday Inn Express Downtown, Boise, is a busy place, popular with families and prospective BSU students. Rooms are very nice with IKEA modern furnishings and we had a great view from huge windows. Loved the bedside lights. Quiet, comfortable for a night's stay. But...the floors in the lobby and in the elevators were filthy, and the hallway carpets really... More

I'm terribly sorry to hear about the Internet service. I know that we change the passcode weekly, but we can look to see what else can be done for security on that network. We're glad to hear that our rooms and service were good, and we'd like to thank you for your review! - Jason, sales coordinator More

The hotel is in an uncongested area about half a mile East of the edge of the University. It might be the closest hotel to campus. At least, I didn't notice any that were closer. The breakfast buffet was about what one would expect at a Holiday Inn Express. What made it a cut above is the ample seating area,... More

My husband & I stayed at the Holiday Inn Express Downtown mid-July 2014 for two nights. Hotel was clean, comfortable & well priced. We did receive a special rate, but even without that rate, I felt it was reasonable. Check-in/Check-out process: We arrived at the Hotel around 9pm & check-in was very smooth. Clerk was friendly and got us to... More

Really fancy for Holiday Inn Express. Very good rates too. A lot of nice things you don't usually see like a video game room for the kids. Largest Breakfast room I have ever seen at a hotel. There were 3 nice restaurants to choose from for supper within walking distance. We went to "Red Robin". Also, right across the road... More

This hotel wold get 5 stars except for a few items - the shower water was warm not hot, there is no changing room in the hot tub area, just a local rest room, and the internet is slow. Otherwise the rooms were very comfortable, the pool was divine (and heated) and the location was perfect for walks along the... More
