I stayed here before and after the City of Trees Marathon. The race start/finish was about 0.4 miles down the street, which was very convenient. However, this "host hotel" broke with tradition by not offering a "to go" breakfast bag the morning of the race. This is standard with most marathon host hotels. The Doubletree Club is an older, sort of dated hotel - but is still a pretty nice place to stay. When you arrive you'll see a couple of bike racks in the parking lot loaded with bikes.
