This is a family oriented hotel, just like the rest of Hyatt places across the country. What distinguishes this one is its proximity to shopping, and to downtown Boise. The hotel itself is within the town square mall and has nearby restaurants within a short walking distance. The rates for the hotel are very very reasonable taking into account that... More

Pros: Fast hi-speed internet. Sensational breakfasts. Excellent beds, furnishings and fixtures. Lovely, well-trained responsive staff. Typical top-of-the-line Hyatt fitness facility. Cons: this property is showing its age. Stains in hallway carpeting, scuff marks here and there. Guest room: some furninture fraying, burned out light bulb in one fixture, slow draining tub. A weekend in August (Fri and Sat) was swarming... More

Exactly like every other Hyatt Place I've been to. The rooms are clean and spacious, the bed comfortable, the breakfast was good, and they give free bottled water to Hyatt Platinum members. Would recommend.

We dragged into Boise after towing our broken car 250 miles across Idaho at about 10 p.m. There was plenty of room in the parking lot for the U-Haul rig! And the friendly service in the elegant lobby was much appreciated. They have a 24 hour menu which you can order from and then either come down to the lobby... More

We spent three nights here while traveling through the area. Great location, close to virtually every restaurant chain and retail outlet there is, as well as the aquarium which our kids loved. Room was very comfortable. Plentiful breakfast. Very friendly staff. Didn't use the pool, but it looked nice. Would definitely stay here again when next in Boise.

Stayed here to attend my husband's grandmother's memorial service, we missed our connecting flight from Denver and called the hotel to inform them of the possibility arriving very late that night or even not making it to the hotel day. The lady I spoke to was so accommodating and helpful. Finally, made it to the hotel passed midnight and KIm... More

I come to Boise about once a year and always stay here as the hotel is top notch and is close to lots of dining options. Very clean, spacious rooms. I wouldn't stay anywhere else! Great continental breakfast as well.

We visited family in Boise June 6, 2014 and stayed at Hyatt Place Boise because of the close proximity to family. We found the hotel very nice, great lobby and very good customer service. The room was large and comfortable. The breakfast was one of the best continental breakfasts I've ever seen. I really liked the eggs scrambled with vegetables... More

Nice rooms but they charged my wife and I a 200 deposit because we are locals. No thanks!!! We live 20 min from Boise and like to have dinner there and occasionally get a room, we have stayed all over Boise and never been charged a 200 deposit. As someone who constantly travels and is a Expedia elite member I... More

Thank you for your feedback. I sorry you did not appreciate our deposit for local guests. The main reason for the deposit is as means of protection for yourself and the hotel. We see quite a few individuals who live in the area that use our hotel as a outlet to party and behave badly; sometimes causing hundreds of dollars... More

Very beautiful lobby with expert staff. Rooms are nice and clean but the air conditioning & heating unit is super obnoxious. I found my room to be muggy most the night, and every time the air conditioner kicked on, I was awoken. The breakfast was a great spread, but be wary if you have a gluten allergy. I found the... Thank you for your feedback. I'm sorry to hear about your air conditioner. We would've loved to take a look at it for you or try to move you to another room if your room was not up to your expectations. As far as the gluten free food, we have been making some improvements to our general gallery food menu... More
