I was attending an event downtown and did not want to drive home afterward. The location was great, just a short walk to the Knitting Factory. The place was clean, had Wi-Fi, and close enough to walk to downtown Boise too. What also enjoyed was the late check out time, 1 pm. Overall it was a really good value.

Stayed in this place to be walking distance to downtown on business, as all other hotels were booked solid when I arrived. It was family friendly, but not the best choice for a business traveler because amenities are minimal. It was clean, and a breakfast bar is included. But it does look like it needs some renovating and updating as... More

A bunch of my girlfriends stay here each year to do the Fitness Walk/Race. It is convenient to walk to the starting place and the finish line. Plus we can walk around town to go to dinner and drinks. The general continental breakfast but it does get you full. Its clean and somewhat quiet to be uptown. Very friendly staff.... More

We travel with our dog, so we are always happy to find a "local" hotel that is pet friendly. The pet friendly rooms are only in one building on one floor, so those of you who don't travel with pets can still be away from those of us who do. We really enjoyed our stay at the Safari. It was... More

The location is great and the staff is very friendly. This is just a basic hotel...nothing fancy but it does offer a continental breakfast, a washer and dryer, a refrigerator and microwave. The room is just ok (nothing matches....drapes, chairs, carpet, comforters) but the air conditioner works and it has an up to date tv. The staff is wonderful! There... More

Clean, affordable with easy access to downtown events. Weak coffee with limited continental breakfast offerings but walking distance to great coffee houses, restaurants, entertainment. Good customer service as I was offered another secured parking lot when the hotel lot was filled with weekend revelers. Farmers market sets up across the street on Sat. AM's.

It was our good luck that we just happened upon the Sarfari Inn when we passed through Boise. It was extremely clean, very friendly reception, and right in the middle of historic downtown so we could walk to everything. We thought $89 was a very good price for this location. Breakfast is continental -- pastries, muffins, bagels, toast, juice, fruit,... More

Very clean basic hotel. Reasonably priced and friendly staff. Great job with keeping parking lot clean in a downtown setting. Basic breakfast but many coffee shops in walking distance with great breakfasts! If you want a good hotel breakfast, stay somewhere else and pay twice as much for your waffle. Stayed here several times and never had any noise issues.

The hotel has great location. Near downtown but found out later that there are other hotels in the region better than this. The staff was friendly. The rooms are decent but they stink. Low pressure shower. The free breakfast was basic.

The location of this hotel is the best thing going for it. You can walk to a very lively downtown restaurant area. We arrived late and we were looking for somewhere to eat at 9:30 at night. There were several choices still available. The hotel itself was a bit shabby. Frayed towels, hole in the shower curtain. The continental breakfast... More
