We arrived in town late in the evening, and had no clue there was a BSU game going on. This was the only place with a vacancy, we pulled in and saw nobody in the office so we called to confirm a room. Online the price showed 54.00, so i thought ok, cheap is good. I filled out the paperwork... More

I have stayed here multiple times within the years. First off, basing this purely on aesthetics like some of the negative "dump" reviews is wrong. If that's important to you I would suggest to go downtown to a brand spankin new place to pay 200 a night for the same amenities. It's an older building, sure. But the owners are... More

I've looked around, and the Cabana is still the only quality budget motel in downtown Boise. The prices are very affordable, the rooms are clean, and the owners are friendly and helpful, I've been staying here for years and have never had any issues.

When I first arrived at the Cabana Inn I didn't think I was going to enjoy it all that much. Kinda dumpy looking, sure. But the owners are incredible, the rate is the best I've found in Boise, and the location is incredible! A ten minute walk from the main part of beautiful downtown Boise, minutes from restaurants and bars.... More

If you're looking for a dirt cheap stay in Boise, you needn't look any further. In spite of the fact that the Cabana Inn is an absolute dump, there are some positives. Even though the proprietors are a middle Eastern husband, wife and son team, that are honest, semi-reasonable and speak fairly good English. The rooms are kept fairly clean.... More

The place was clean and quiet enough, and very convenient to downtown Boise. The exterior was ok, but the rooms are long past due for facelifting. Furnishings were as described by other reviewers, but I had no problems with getting a good hot shower. I liked that the towels were immaculately white and not hung over the toilet, like in... More

This hotel was recommended (in the sense of "nothing special but clean and decent") in Lonely Planet, which was why we picked it; plus, it does have low rates and it seemed more fun to check out a locally owned motel than one that belongs to a US-wide chain. Unfortunately, this is pretty much all this place has going for... More

Dirty carpet and chairs. Sink stopper was broke. You had to be incredibly strong to get the shower to turn on. Bad TV reception and no HBO. Curtains were literally falling off the rod. 40 yr. old motel furniture. Mattress was sloped to one side. I guess you get what you pay for. $43.00 should have been a clue. This... More

I found the person renting the rooms and answering the phone rude. It was a very cold winter night. I didn't get as far as renting a room, but I observed a guy trying to get into his room for what seemed like forever, then he went to the manager for assistance only to be turned back with the key...
