this is by far the dirtiest place I've set my eyes on. It smells like urine as soon as you open the door. The hand towels literally had fecal matter on them. when I walked to my car to grab my bags I was greeted by my neighbor Methy McMetherson. I told the woman at the front desk I didn't... More

i saw all the reviews and I decided to stay here anyways , they charged me 15$ for my small doggie ,I don't think they should charge a pet fee cause the room it's pretty outdated and the carpet is dirty! The bed was comfy ! That's about the only good thing I can say about it ! I guess... More

This is a great place to stay for the price. It's in a fantastic location, close to downtown. The owners were sweet and helpful. The rooms were clean, but out of date. If that stuff doesn't bother you this is a fine place to stay.

Was scoping out hotels in the $50-$80 range while staying in Boise on business. Checked out the Cabana due to it's great location. We always ask to see a room before we commit to staying in a place. The outside of the building looks great! When we walked in the room we were immediately turned off by the dim lighting... More

As I was traveling and being out of state, the first time they ran my credit card, it got declined for security reasons. The check-in lady became fairly rude at that point. I said please wait for a second and I called the Credit Card company to confirm identity (all resolved within 5 minutes). The lady was not happy that... More

We arrived in town late in the evening, and had no clue there was a BSU game going on. This was the only place with a vacancy, we pulled in and saw nobody in the office so we called to confirm a room. Online the price showed 54.00, so i thought ok, cheap is good. I filled out the paperwork... More

I have stayed here multiple times within the years. First off, basing this purely on aesthetics like some of the negative "dump" reviews is wrong. If that's important to you I would suggest to go downtown to a brand spankin new place to pay 200 a night for the same amenities. It's an older building, sure. But the owners are... More

I've looked around, and the Cabana is still the only quality budget motel in downtown Boise. The prices are very affordable, the rooms are clean, and the owners are friendly and helpful, I've been staying here for years and have never had any issues.

When I first arrived at the Cabana Inn I didn't think I was going to enjoy it all that much. Kinda dumpy looking, sure. But the owners are incredible, the rate is the best I've found in Boise, and the location is incredible! A ten minute walk from the main part of beautiful downtown Boise, minutes from restaurants and bars.... More

If you're looking for a dirt cheap stay in Boise, you needn't look any further. In spite of the fact that the Cabana Inn is an absolute dump, there are some positives. Even though the proprietors are a middle Eastern husband, wife and son team, that are honest, semi-reasonable and speak fairly good English. The rooms are kept fairly clean.... More
