The Grove is a great boutique hotel for a night or two in Boise. Centrally located, with a nice lobby and restaurant, make for a choice that won't disappoint. The rooms are in the process of a renovation, so just make sure to ask for a room away from any noise associated with the work.

What a lovely place to stay. The rooms are tastefully decorated, clean and the bed and pillows are relaxingly comfortable. It is located in the heart of Boise within walking distance of a variety of sight seeing locations; the Basque museum, market and restaurants; the Idaho State capitol with a self-guided tour and a charming gift shop. Head the other direction... More

The staff is very nice and friendly. The rooms are average just like any Marriott or Hilton. Fortunately I was given a renovated room so everything was nice and new. I was told that all of the rooms are getting renovated. Walk outside and you will find bars and restaurants. There is even a Trader Joe's across the street. Taters,... More

This visit to the Grove was for business. I got a negotiated company rate which was very good. This property is in a great downtown location, about 5 blocks from the capitol building. I was on the 11th floor with a partial capitol view- room 1133. The floor had just been remodeled so everything was very new smelling and clean.... More

If there's somewhere better than The Grove in Boise, by all means go there. My guess is that it doesn't exist. The Grove has great rooms, great bar, a decent restaurant and it's right in the middle of town. You'll pay extra to stay there, but suck it up. It's worth every penny. And check out the health club. It's... More

Stayed here for two nights while at a meeting in Boise. Hotel rooms are unremarkable, pretty small but clean and comfortable. Reasonably quiet, but despite being on the 7th floor, there was still noise from the street. They have the 4-cup coffee maker, which I prefer over the single serving coffee makers that many hotels are switching to. Small fridge.... More

If you want to be right in the middle of everything this is your place! The hotel itself is very nice but the best part is the location. You can pretty much walk to everything. We didn't try the restaurant inside the hotel but I heard it was amazing.

Was in Boise for a business trip and the hotel that was sponsoring the group was The Grove. An older hotel and basically the only full service business hotel in the city. Nothing special but it was clean and had most amenities. Dining was fundamental...not great not bad...had a decent time. When I travel I try to remember that not... More

Corner Junior Suite was well appointed but oddly laid out (two shower areas?), magnified make-up mirror, very clean, very comfortable bed and luxury linens. It was nice to be able to cool the room enough to sleep. We were on the 10th floor but there was still residual noise from the street below. Our waiter in the bar was very... More

We stayed here at The Grove when my husband did a half Ironman race. The start was at Julia Davis Park about a mile away and the finish was at the shopping area across from the hotel. We specifically booked at the Grove for its proximity to the race start and finish. But for my young toddler and I, the... More
