One of the best all-around facilities I have ever been to. Nearly flawless in every aspect - Front Desk, Concierge, Restaurant, Valet. Superbly professional and friendly. Great communication skills, so unlike other properties. A definite 5-Star!! This facility is next to the Boise Centre, a star in downtown Boise. Walking distance to 25 excellent restaurants, State Capitol, open-air entertainment. Nice... More

The Grove is a nice hotel, but not as nice as the price would suggest. My son and I stayed here while they had a comicon type convention. It was noisy and the elevator was very busy. The room was clean and the bed ok, again not as nice as I would expect for the price. We did have desert... More

My 18 year old son and I were visiting Boise for a Niece's wedding on Friday August 8 and got into town very early on August 7 and did some sightseeing before the wedding. It was our first time ever to Boise and overall it was a very nice visit including our stay at the Grove hotel. We stayed at... More

I have stayed here now three times for business. They are trying to imitate the W...but the W will never come to Boise, so why try to fake it. Cons Everything is super expensive. Front Desk staff, especially Britani is very rude and stand offish. The Wi-Fi is terrible: don't bother trying to work, and you can forget about streaming... More

Yes, the staff and the view is fabulous. And the bed is top notch. This hotel hires great people and has a lot to offer. But, the Grove cuts corners in the wrong places and ignores the most important needs of its customers. Let’s start with some small issues that should be easy to fix: Even though everything in the... Location, location, location. The Grove is ideally situated in the heart of downtown and a convenient walk from common destinations, and the on-site parking is super convenient. (This is a full-service convention hotel, and I'd recommend the nearby Hotel 43 if you're looking for something smaller and a more intimate boutique hotel.) Service is good and the on-site health facility... More

I traveled to Boise for a corporate sponsorship event (The Boise Open). We had a block of rooms reserved with fantastic rates. I had to change my trip at the last minute. All king rooms in our block were sold out, but the reservations team offered me a a very sweet deal for a gorgeous suite on the top floor.... More

This hotel is right next to the Boise Center, and is within walking distance of a lot of things you could want to see in Boise. Usually when I stay in a big hotel for a convention, something goes wrong, but the Grove Hotel did everything they were paid to do.

If you're looking for free breakfast, The Grove Hotel isn't for you. Like most hotels with an attached or integrated restaurant, you don't get food comps. A couple of selections on the room service breakfast menu looked to have decent prices for the description but then there's the %20 gratuity automatically added for room service. If people do a good... More

The good: the rooms were recently renovated and nicer than expected. Modern, bed was reasonably comfy. Check in was quick and easy, and thankfully they put us on a high floor (far away from the costumed-conference goers on floors 3/4.) Also Kyle the bartender was awesome. Good service, made good drinks. Good experience there. The not so good: I think... More
