I stay at this property when I'm in town on business and have appointments downtown. The location is great and within easy walking distance of great restaurants and BODO. I don't stay here if I am planning to come and go frequently with my car as that can be kind of a pain. I love the updated rooms and the... More

I wanted to stay at Hotel 43 in Boise but they had no room at the inn and recommended The Grove Hotel. I was skeptical but there is nothing like some friendly competition to up the ante. I left my car with the valet, checked in and was in my room in 5 minutes. For their lowest rate they gave... More

Spent our 17th anniversary for the 1st time at this hotel. We were put in a room next to some kind of generator that was incredibly noisy. Between all the noise outside because walls were paper thin and the generator, we hardly slept (we were told this noise would shut off in 15 minutes at 2pm that day, but it... More

The Grove is a very nice upscale hotel in downtown Boise, convenient to anything downtown, especially the Boise Centre. Figuring out the one way streets is the biggest challenge to getting into this hotel, but if you valet park ($), it's less of a problem. I had a spectacular room, very nice with lovely amenities. The restaurant is quite good,... More

I only stayed for one night on a business trip but I wish I was staying longer. There is something about underground parking that makes me feel my car is more secure. Internet was fast, food by the catering department for the banquet was really high quality, room had those little extras that made me feel like the Obama's or... More

I was on a road trip with my adult niece so it was either here or Hotel 43 which when I call them on the phone for a reservation so reeked of pretentious poseur that I decided to stay here. And I was glad that I did, comfortable spacious room, very nice comfy bed as well. Enjoyed the view from... More

This was our second visit to the Grove Hotel, and overall is was a good experience. We were disappointed to learn that the hot tub and steam room were broken and that there was no plan to repair them. We haven't decided if we would be going back or try another option in the area.

This hotel is clean, comfortable and nondescript. Nothing special stands out as exceptionally good or bad (except the internet connection, which is unacceptable by any business standard). Bring a hotspot of your own if you don't want dial-up type service. The rooms have been recently refreshed with all new beds, carpets, etc. but still have a dated feel. Nonetheless, the... More

We stayed two nights in very nice rooms on the 12th floor and had a wonderful time. The staff was helpful, never snooty or overbearing. Rooms were very clean and comfortable and offered very nice views. Even though the windows don't open, under them is a great little pull-down vent that allowed fresh air to enter. Finding it was a... We just stayed one night in a basic room to be close to downtown. The location was perfect and Ashely at the front desk was the nicest person we have ever encountered. The hotel has nice updates and great views of the city. We did not utilize the restaurant or room service but spent out time walking to local eateries... More
